We stumbled upon @godivacafe_jp at Nihonbashi and simply couldn’t resist giving it a try—because who could say no to a café dedicated to the magic of Godiva chocolate? This sweet little spot in the heart of Tokyo turned out to be a delightful treat for the senses, offering an array of decadent desserts, pastries, and drinks that every chocolate lover should experience at least once.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with elegant touches that reflected the brand’s rich heritage. Every bite was pure indulgence. The chocolate was rich, velvety, and perfectly balanced, a true testament to Godiva’s craft.

Had the strawberry chocolate parfait and it was not as good as last time. There was a lot of strawberries on top but they were quite tart and the chocolate frosting cream was very thick with a slightly sour taste. However the Gianduja Chocolixir was tasty with some hazelnut pieces mixed in the drink and also came with a piece of chocolate on top.

Ordered the seasonal strawberry parfait drink set and a chocolate cornet. The parfait has plenty of sweet strawberries on top, fresh cream, chocolate cream and sauce, crushed chocolate wafer, vanilla ice cream, strawberry sauce and some refreshing fruit gel at the bottom. Elevating my Everyday ちょっと特別な毎日を届けるカフェ ゴディバの新業態として誕生した「GODIVA café」が、9/24（金）に日本橋交差点の「コーヒービーン&ティーリーフ日本橋店」の跡地に出来たとのことで、初日にお伺いしてきました。 オープン前から行列が出来ていて、人気の高さが伺えます。 秋のメニューの「GODIVA カカオモンブランアイスラテ（880円）」と「ムースショコラ（610円）」を注文してみましたが、アイスラテの方はモンブランクリームとビターなエスプレッソとチョコレートの組み合わせが良い感じ。 ムースショコラも濃厚で美味しかったです。 店員さんにコンセプトをお伺いしたところ、「Elevating my Everyday ちょっと特別な毎日を届けるカフェ」がコンセプトの様です。 毎日暮らしている中で、ゴディバカフェを使うことで、利用していただいたお客様が少しでも気分を上げて頂きたい。 疲れた日などに、ゴディバカフェでチョコレートを食べたり飲んだりして、がんばる活力にして欲しい。 そんな想いが込められている様です。 また、普段、百貨店などでゴディバを売っている店員さんもいらしており、チョコレートの説明などもしっかりできるようにしている様です。 ゴディバのチョコレートの魅力を早速お伺いしてみると、ゴディバのチョコレートの特徴の一つとして、カカオの産地は決まっておらず、創業以来同じ品質の味が出せる様に、その年の気候などにあわせて産地を変えているとのこと。 また、「エンロービング」と「シェルモールディング」という2種類の方法により、芸術性の高いチョコレートを作っている様です。 雰囲気も良く、特別な気持ちを感じられる空間だったので、また来ようと思います！
