Was hungry after an appointment in Ginza and walked past this eatery where they had a poster of gyoza outside the eatery that caught my attention and decided to try it. Had gyoza, shoyu ramen and a small bottle of sake by myself - although the chefs in there may look unfriendly at first (maybe because I'm a foreigner who entered and I had to ask how can I order as none of them gave me menu) food was surprisingly delicious, the way the Chefs were cooking and prepping the food right in front of me where I had the view from the counter was simply captivating for me that I wanna order every dish he cooked up (omg! the way he cooked up a storm of fried rice, fried noodles, etc, he is presumably the head-chef who was cooking most of the orders in the eatery). Very affordable as compared to many other ramen places that I have visited and their gyoza are really gooood!! A very good quick fix within Ginza if you're in the area. Would wanna try their fried rice and fried noodles the next time I'm there. Oh yes, and there were plenty of locals going to this eatery as compared to other ramen places where it's "popular" among tourists/foreigners only. It can never go wrong with an eatery that is...
Read moreWe didn’t know what this place was called, but we kept passing it and it always smelled amazing. On our last day in Ginza, we accidentally ended up near it again, and were fortunate to get seats immediately despite it being lunchtime on a rainy day. What followed was a delicious meal of generous portion sizes that kept us sated all the way until dinnertime.
The kimchi ramen, fried rice and gyoza were better than any we had tried in Tokyo. The portions are massive—despite being hungry and sharing the meal, we struggled to finish it and converted our leftovers into takeout.
The space is tiny and you will be in close quarters with other diners, but the food is good enough to make you forget all of that.
It’s a no-nonsense place focused on giving you a great meal efficiently, but not one where you might want to linger over a languid...

I eat this similar type of restaurant long time ago since 1999 next to ginza daiichi hotel (now become mitsui garden ginza premier hotel) the old hotel is gone and also the old restaurant. I'm happy to discovered this small establishment yet taste similar. Bring back the memory. Everything i order taste good. However they have rules, after 8pm no kids can eat here even with adult. Taste okay, staff was nice. But in peak hours you must eat in hurry otherwise they will ask you to leave politely by giving...
