Went there at April 21 2024 at night, long story short the male staff member seems to be racist. I don’t understand the language of Japanese, the ticket machine outside is shown in whole Japanese, no English or any other language at all. However we then do notice there do is a sign on top that has Mandarin n English. My friend and I walked in after we purchased the ticket from the machine. Here comes the rude staff, I have no idea what to do afterwards so I was hanging him the three ticket I got from the machine through the window (the tickets were in all Japanese as well), but he keeps yelling at us in Japanese and holding the coke I ordered. I use the hand gesture and even said I’m sorry I do not understand but he keeps yelling at us (Yes, I mean YELL as he keeps getting louder and louder when we are struggling to understand). We have a seat after he finally took away our ticket. Not over 5 min he keeps yelling at the window again, we do not understand but through our guesses it might be our order is ready. We went there, he IGNORES us and keeps yelling something we don’t understand. We were so frustrating so we even asked other customer what does he mean can you help? It turns out he was yelling at the customer before us order (which doesn’t understand Japanese as well)was ready. This is definitely the most terrible place I ever been to. The seats were small, curry was mid, and the staff was a racist. If y’all do not welcome foreigners who don’t understand Japanese to ur store plz just let us know and give us the refund so we can go to somewhere else. To all the ppl who read all the way through here thanks for takin ur time and be aware to stay away from this restaurant unless u wanna get racist by...

Go go curry is a chain Japanese curry shop. I went to the branch outside Shinbashi station.
The staff are very kind and speak good English.
The vending machine is right outside the shop. After choosing your curry, you can take a seat indoors.
The shop is quite small and was full of salary people when I went at lunchtime on a weekday. It felt intimate and was a gave a good insight into the cultural lunchtime habits of Japanese people during weekdays.
I waited for my ticket number to be called out. The staff called it out to me in Japanese and English.
The servings of curry are incredibly generous. My chicken katsu curry was served with rolled up cabbage and around 300g of rice. You can select the portion size of rice which you like. The sauce was dark, rich and thick in flavour and consistency. You can have unlimited amounts of mayonnaise, barbecue sauce and pickles.
If you are hungry and want to eat something quick and cheap then this is the place to go. It’s healthier than going to a fast food burger shop. My curry cost me around 750 yen. Very reasonable.

Read moreWe were on our way to Meiji Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Avenue and needed to transfer at this station. We decided to look for lunch here and the Gorilla at the corner to the traffic junction caught our attention. We ordered a Grand Slam to share. This was the first time both my wife and I had Kanazawa curry and both of us were surprised that we like the curry sauce. It was not too sweet and got that curry spice. The cutlets were just nice, not dry or have that unhealthy oil taste which I sometime would found in some stalls that sell similar. The two young chefs (guys) were friendly with excellent customer servicing, trying to explain to us to buy the coupon att the machine first and automatically offered us extra bowl and fork when I collected the order. While eating, I was also enjoying the small screen in front of me that introduce the company and play back a marathon event - LOL, Kanazawa is added to my next...
