Small tonkatsu restaurant in midtown shopping center. There are 2 small tables and then the rest sit at an island in the middle. Maybe ~20 seats total.

The panko coating is very fluffy and crispy and the pork is juicy.

You cannot make reservations but they have a machine to get a number if there is a queue. I went on a Friday night around 19:00 and there was basically no wait.

3 people ordered 2 combo sets and 1 regular set. Plus, a raw ham appetizer. The cabbage salad was very good and you can get free refills. I think they add shredded agar to it so it has nice a texture. The miso wakame soup was delicious.

This is my favorite tonkatsu place. The juiciest, softest, fattiest meat, always served fresh out of the fryer. I’m worried they’ll start to recognize me because I go there too often…

It’s on the expensive side, but the weekday 1,300 yen for roast katsu is the best option for me. Sometimes I’ll try the hire katsu but it’s too lean for me lol. The kinkabuta (pricier pig option) roast katsu is even juicier.

I’m not into tonkatsu sauce since it’s too sweet for me, so I usually do the salt. Soooo good.

Free rice, miso soup, and salad refills.

Only con is that I always wait a while for the food to arrive. It’s also super crowded...

Delicious!!! Partner and I got two different cuts of pork and both were soft and flavourful without that ‘porky’ taste. We like pork but sometimes it can be too gamey. But this wasn’t the case. It was fresh to order and the sides and sauces to complement was the perfect combination. Free cabbage refills is always welcomed at our table!
