This is basically one of the best Yakiniku places I’ve ever been, i ordered 上ロースグイ、特上カルビ、and 特上骨付きカルビ, the flavors are incredible, the meat is marinated with special sauce and salt/ black pepper. The texture is super tender, they got a marble between the flesh and practically melt in your mouth. Alongside, they serve soy dipping sauce for dipping the grilled meat, also the red chili paste and the sambol for those who want some kick. The grill was charcoal so it adds even further of smokiness.
There are other types of meat too, i also tried the pork belly and it’s delicious, and don’t miss the ox bone soup, it helps curing up you and very refreshing.
The staffs here are very nice and willing to help you translate the menu in English. If you want to know how to call the names in Japanese, just ask them and they will pronounce the names to you. Good services and Amazing foods, wonderful experience, i am gonna come back...
Read moreMight not receive good service if you are a visitor… We couldn’t book online so showed up at 19:00 on a Thursday night. Signed up using their queuing system and there were 2 more couples in front of us. In total we waited for an hour and we had a perception that others were let before us- we gave it the benefit of the doubt thinking it might be people with reservations but one of the couples had arrived after us.
The food was tasty and you cook on charcoal. It is quite smoky but that was okay for us. The decor is simple and we liked it.
The staff was not very attentive, and I wouldn’t recommend it if it’s your first time as this type of restaurant and you might need to rely on the waiter to explain or show you how to get on with the grill. Upon leaving some of the staff didn’t even say goodbye which we find untypical for Japan. I would not recommend to friends or family...
Read moreGreat tasting beef that is cooked over charcoal, unlike other places that have a gas grill. Very friendly staff and very friendly to tourists; a few of the staff members speak English very well. They have an English menu as well, however, the Japanese menu has more selection. So be sure to check both out to see the full array of what they have to offer.
The premium cuts of beef are more marbled, albeit pricier, but definitely recommend having at least one order of these as they’re delicious.
They also have a seafood platter for the seafood lover as well as some broths.
Lastly, it’s traditional style Japanese seating, so be prepared for that. You will be seated on the floor, and be provided a pillow...
