Have been to many Tokyo burger shops and this is certainly a favourite. I have only been twice so I can’t comment on most of the items on the menu, but here is a list of what makes this place so great: 1) it is the only burger joint I have ever been to with a salad bar - and not only is there a decent variety of salad items, it comes free with your burger! 2) the burgers are good and they serve crisp shoestring fries (instead of mushy wedges!) - also, although the serving of fries is small, they come free with your burger, so unless you really want a lot, there is no need to order any, 3) the staff is very friendly and helpful (came and offered to help when I was looking at the menu, and took my tray just as I stood up to return it), 4) for those who are not into burgers, they have delicious looking sandwiches, 5) it is nice and bright with not one but 2 enclosed terraces (maybe not comfortable in summer and winter), 6) they allow dogs! (not an easy find in Tokyo), and 7) they take reservations - which could certainly come in handy during busy times or for larger groups. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and although is was quite good, I like lots of sauce and for the 1st 2/3 of the burger I wanted a little more. The last few bites were fine, so I’m not sure if I needed more sauce or if it simply needed to be better distributed over/within the burger. Just a minor quip. I highly recommend this place and will certainly...

We stopped at J.S. Burgers after a long day exploring, so wanted something quick and filling as we were hungry. It was a big modern restaurant with a warehouse vibe, with some cool looking terraces too (although it was a bit cold to sit outside). They had plenty of seating so it wasn’t a problem getting a table.

I ordered a cheese and bacon burger which came with fries, and I also upgraded to include a drink and some onion rings. All the food came out quickly and was very nice. The fries were a bit thin for my liking but tasty nonetheless. The highlight was obviously the burger, which was amazing - very flavoursome and juicy.

For dessert, me and my husband shared (begrudgingly) a banana and chocolate waffle - which was absolutely incredible.

Overall, the meal with drinks was very good value. It’s self service but the staff were friendly and efficient. Overall it was a great choice for a quick meal, and the...

I ordered the mushroom and truffle "pizza" if you could call it that. I wasn't expecting anything super fancy so that's not the problem here. I was just expecting something that resembled a pizza or at least that resembled ... food.

It was a wafer thin crust, so thin I couldn't pick a piece up without it falling apart. 80% of the plain white button mushrooms were RAW. Who wants to eat a pizza with RAW white mushrooms!? The sauce tasted like mud, it was sprinkled with crazy salty cheap instant parmesan or something. I honestly tried to choke it down but only managed like half a piece. It was a nasty, raw mushroom salt bomb, not a pizza. I wondered if the kitchen was playing a joke.

The place seems to have changed so I wonder if it's under new ownership.

Will...
