An Old Favorite since the 1990's.

I have been coming to Kaji since the late 90's, maybe 10 times in total. It is small (6-8 seats around a single teppan), the chef / owner does all the primary prep and his wife (?) does the secondary prep. The meal is comprehensive and amazing. Truly artisan skills applied to the best beef in the world. Soft, old school jazz plays in the background as you watch an amazing multi-stage meal evolve in front of you. No Benihana theatrics. Pure class...

Just got done eating dinner here and it was amazing. Best steak we have ever had and the rice cooked in the oil and juices left behind after the steak was amazing. Nice little place with a cozy atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and helpful to us tourists and they had a menu available I. A flush as well. The group of local business men eating there as well added to the atmosphere and enjoyment...

INCREDIBLE! Hidden gem. I have been to many, many steakhouses around the world and this ranks very, very high! The way the steak was prepared and the accompanying dishes, along with the cozy setting, made for a memorable lunch. Easily could charge $100 per meal, but to only pay
