Stumbled onto this gem. The service here is great, the waiter assisting us was very helpful and the store is wheelchair accessible. The toilet is at the 2nd floor but their staff will guide you to another toilet.

The food was great, we ordered a steamed (recommended) and BBQ oyster set along with raw oysters. The large sashimi oysters were fresh and juicy, they also provide you with 4 different sauces.

I'm not a fan of oysters or shellfish but this store exceeded my expectations. Would come again.

Must buy : Aburi-Toro-Shimesaba

The slight vinegar taste of the mackerel is...

Extremely rude staff Non-transparent pricing Deceptive sales tactics

My experience: When we called the waiter over, he only gestured for us to wait. When we ordered two ホタテ (scallops), the waiter asked us if we wanted them big or small, but the sign outside clearly had no indication of size, only a price of 600 yen per piece. However, he charged us 1,600 yen in a very opaque manner and accused us of ordering 牡蠣 (oysters) instead of ホタテ (scallops) in a very bad attitude. He pointed at us with his index finger and said:「あなた、先き牡蠣言ったてしお?!」which is very rude way to say to a customer The sign outside for oysters had no clear indication of size and only a price of 800 yen per piece. The same thing happened to two other Japanese customers, and we clearly heard them order ホタテ (scallops), but the waiter pretended to hear 牡蠣 (oysters) and charged them 1,600 yen.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at "Tsukiji Shokudo". The waiter's attitude was extremely poor, the pricing was opaque, and the tacky sales tactics were very uncomfortable. This restaurant is definitely a blemish on Tsukiji and a cause for disappointment in Japan. I will not come back to this restaurant again and will not recommend it to...

We had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was fresh and delicious — we especially enjoyed the oysters and squid.

What truly made the visit memorable was the exceptional service. One of the staff, although not Muslim herself, kindly advised me to change my order as it wasn't suitable for Muslims. I really appreciated her honesty and attentiveness.

She even gave a special gift to my son, which truly warmed our hearts.

Definitely looking forward to coming back — both here and when we visit Japan again! Highly...

Tokyo | Tsukiji Outer Market Half-Day Guide 🔥 No-Regret Snacks Collection! 👇🏻 Second visit to Tsukiji, and the Outer Market is still bustling with excitement. Due to time constraints, I could only stay for three hours, but my mouth never stopped! This guide is especially for those with limited time who can't afford to wait in long lines for must-try foods. You can still have a satisfying experience by sampling these treats 😋 ——————— 🔸 A Heartfelt Beef Bowl at きつねや: Located right by the roadside near Tsukiji Market, this place has only four seats but offers standing tables outside. Many locals come here for a quick lunch of gyudon. The beef broth simmers in a large pot, releasing an irresistible aroma. A bowl of beef rice is 750 yen, packed with generous portions of beef. The meat is tender and flavorful. Besides beef rice, they also offer offal rice, and you can add a raw or soft-boiled egg for a small extra charge. Very reasonable prices! ——————— 🔸 Explosive Butter-Grilled Live Scallops: This is a 200/100 recommendation! 🔥 Head to "Oyster Hut Tsukiji Shokudo," where you can stand outside to buy seafood or sit inside to enjoy seafood and a drink. Must-try items include scallops as big as your fist and oysters as large as your palm! The oysters are incredibly fresh and plump, while the scallops need to have their black innards trimmed before being cut into bite-sized pieces. The meat is infused with the rich flavors of butter and searing heat, making it both fresh and delicious! I later found out that Nicholas Tse's "12 Flavors" show had also visited here 🧚‍♀️! I totally got the same experience! ———————— 🔸 Uni Hut: Usually, popular uni rice shops require a long wait. Alternatively, you can detour to "Uni Hut" in a nearby alley, which specializes in freshly opened uni. The uni varies in price based on its size and plumpness. Once selected, you can scoop it up with a spoon and enjoy the sublime sensation of it melting in your mouth. ———————— 🔸 A5 Grade Wagyu Skewers 🐂: If you want to try wagyu without breaking the bank, you can order a single skewer here. The price varies according to the meat's marbling. I tried a medium-priced one, which was already incredibly tender and melt-in-the-mouth! Sharing one skewer among a few people is a good idea, as eating a whole skewer might be too rich and prevent you from trying other foods. ———————— 🔸 80-Year-Old Shop "Maru Takeda" Tamagoyaki: Very affordable at 100 yen per piece, made purely from eggs without any additives. The taste is soft, tender, and slightly sweet, especially when freshly out of the oven and still warm. Delicious 😋 ——————— 🔸 Super Delicious Dessert 🍓 Strawberry Daifuku: Located next to the 5A Wagyu Skewer shop, this place offers several filling options like red bean, matcha, chocolate, and cream. The soft, chewy mochi combined with sweet strawberries will make your heart and stomach melt. ———————— 🌟 TIPS: Many old shops still remain in the Tsukiji Outer Market. There are rumors that due to the 2020 Olympics, the area might undergo renovations, and it's uncertain whether the market will move. So, enjoy the food while you can! 🤣🤣 🌟 Remember to bring enough cash, as many small shops only accept cash. @Uncle Red @Captain of the Squad @Foodie Squad #Tsukiji Outer Market[地点]##Tokyo (東京都)[地点]#
