Tokyo's Hidden Gems: A Lone Pig Demon's Favorite Spots Revealed 🙋

Love here and it’s not my first time to visit here. Their milk tea is the best one I ever had in Tokyo. BTW, they called hot milk tea as Chi-mi-tea, but in fact, it has nothing to do with chi tea. Their apple pie is also amazing. It wrap a whole apple in pie crust, and come with vanilla ice cream. When I was first time to visit there, it was the first time to try this kind of apple pie and it really surprised me! (Although I took banana cake this time) Of course, their other cakes are also great. if you don’t like apple pie, I will suggest banana cake and cheese cake. They are also quite good taste to me. In addition, they also serve regular meals, seems quite a lot of client come here for their meals, too.

Essentially, the place has nothing to do with Kenya (the country). But the staff said that he thinks that a long time ago, the owner had a good friend from Kenya and naming the restaurant had something to do with that friend. 1,200 yen for the lunch set comprising of a main dish, soup, salad, and drink. Price is reasonable considering the area. Quantity was good and quality was ok. The アイミティー (iced milk tea) was delicious - strong black tea flavor with semi-sweet milk; reminds me of the local milk tea (not the boba kind) in countries HK and Thailand! Unfortunately, I didn’t have space for a dessert after my lunch, and the desserts were not available for take-out.

A cute cafe that specializes in tea! The line was a bit long since I came on a weekend but the turnover was quite fast. I think I only waited for about 15 minutes 🤩 I ordered their original milk tea blend and a banana cake! Although the cake was good, the milk tea was definitely the star of the show 🥰 I really liked how it wasn't that sweet and you could really taste the tea itself! The inside of the cafe is also really nice and cozy 🧘‍♀️

I've seen some reviews say that some of the staff can be rude to foreigners but luckily I didn't experience any of this 😊 They also have an English menu if you can't read Japanese so...
