Kinmaru — Restaurant in Tokyo

This is a smaller ramen shop behind one of the main streets in Ginza located next to a lot of hotels. They are open till midnight too which is a huge plus and everything is under $10. Ordering is done when you walk in through a vending machine and it’s CASH ONLY.

This is a pork based tonkatsu ramen spot with gyoza and wontons too.

Seating is only at the counter with about 15 spots. People eat fast so it moves quickly.

They also have refillable water and fresh garlic on the table for you to help yourself to.

I ordered the spicy version and the gyoza….both were great. Soup is nice but not too rich and salty. Gyoza options are 3 or 6 pieces served hot and pan fried.

This is a good quick easy meal...

The owner doesn’t speak much English, but as you can see they open till very late and food is fabulous. You order in the machine near the door. Noodle is only 950 - 1050 ish JPY, add egg or noodle is 100 extra. With google translate you should be able to translate the machine menu with your phone camera. This is one of the cheapest place in Ginza but you won’t taste any difference compare to the most expensive store. HOWEVER, if you looking to have a drink here you will be disappointed because they only have bottle beer and tap beer, water and very few other drinks. This is pretty much just Ramen...

■　お会計はおそらく現金のみです。

■　カウンター3+9席となっており、奥に長いお店です。 ただし、荷物を入れるかごやカバンを掛けるフックなどは無いので気を付けてください。

■人気店だけあって金曜日の夕方だと、次から次へと味を求めてご来店される方がいらっしゃいます。 少し早めに行ったので並ばずに入ることが出来ました。

■　金丸ラーメン(税込980円)＋替玉(税込100円)頂きました。 出汁は博多豚骨出汁よりもアッサリ＋甘みがあり、しつこくなくて、何杯でも食べれるお味となっております。

麵の固さをLv.1～Lv.6で選ぶことが出来ます。素人の自分は【バリ】ですが、猛者の皆さんは【こなおとし】で。

いつものチャーシューと崩しチャーシュー（味付き）がお 出迎えします。

替玉が100円なので、いっぱい食べることが出来ます。

■　There are 3+9 seats at the counter, and it is a long store in the back. However, please be aware that there are no baskets to put your luggage in or hooks to hang your bags.

■As it is a popular restaurant, on Friday evenings, many people come to the store one after another to try out the different flavors. I went a little early so I was able to get in without lining up.

■ I received Kanamaru Ramen (980 yen including tax) + extra egg (100 yen including tax). The soup stock is lighter and sweeter than Hakata tonkotsu stock, and is not too strong, making it a flavor that you can eat as many times as you want.

You can choose the hardness of noodles from Lv.1 to Lv.6. As an amateur, I use [Bali], but for the enthusiasts, I use [Konaotoshi].

The usual char siu and broken char siu (flavored) are available. We will welcome you.

Since the substitute balls are only 100 yen, you can eat as much as you want.
