This little ramen place was an accidental discovery - I was staying at a hotel nearby and always went to the pharmacy located right opposite this ramen shop. Everytime (it'd be night time) it was packed with customers going in and out, and it certainly piqued my curiosity. On my last day in Tokyo, I checked out on the hotel and went for last minute shopping around Ginza area, since my flight was late at night. We were quite famished by the time we walked back to our hotel and since it was late in the afternoon, we just walked in and left the shop with happy and full stomach. ◾Spicy dipping ramen - the spicy soup and ramen were served separately. As per Japanese standard, it wasn't too spicy but aromatic with sweetness from the onion. I wish that I could have this all by myself but the one next to me kept on stealing it. ◾Regular char siew ramen - commendable but after having Mugi to Olive's version, I had such a high standard to set. It still has the umami taste in the soup with the tender char siew and onsen egg. As of most ramen shops in Tokyo, this shop was also quite small and could only accommodate 20 pax at most. This was our final meal in Tokyo and it didn't disappoint.

This is a small ramen and soba shop located right across from 7-11. I was headed to get snack from 7/11 but decided to give this small local spot a try. Service is quick and turnover is fast. The place fills up….people eat quickly and leave and it fills up again mostly. The crowd is a mix of local and some tourists. The place is small with a few tables for 2 and a small counter for seating. There is an English menu posted outside and they have one inside too. Water is self serve and is located next to the front door. There are a lot of pictures posted on the walls of the food so you can also point at the one you want. I orders the Bonten’s black Shoyu ramen with an order of the Nikujiru pork gyoza. The flavor of the ramen soup was delicious and the texture of the noodles were perfect too. The noodles were nice amd chewy just the way I like it. The gyoza had a thicker skin and was very crunchy. I enjoyed both dishes. Total was under $10 USD! Such a great deal! This is a good, cheap late night spot in Ginza for a quick and affordable bowl of ramen!

was my first meal in japan, and I was immediately sold for it. simple shoyu broth charshu ramen for 1200 yen, 550 yen for gyoza. Broth was nothing else but addictive and hearty, especially we visited during a rainy November. They do offer an upsize of noodles for 130 yen more, but even for someone who eats a lot, their regular portion is more than sufficient. Simple, honest and comforting food. the shop is a small but cosy environment, if your expecting a sleek and posh place, then this is not for you. But this place deserves the 5 stars for its take on comfort ramen, doing it well without any additional components to it. Definitely recommending it, definitely coming back for more.

On 15th Aug 2025, I have visited tokyo for my annual vacation, i have booked in a hotel in ginza, after the hotel's check in , I walked the hotel nearby and looking for restaurant for dinner, cause the time was approx. 9 pm and some of restaurants were closed, and this restaurant only 2 minutes walk from my hotel, and the decoration is Japanese style, I was thinking the shop even old but look very special, it's food must be very special, and i walked in shop and ordered a noodle as per the waiter’s recommendation, after finish dinner, I required my bill from the waiter, the waiter tell me the price of 1100 Yuan, then I gave him a 10,000 Yuan and he asked me if I have coin of 100 yuan, then I find out a coin of 100 Yuan and gave it to him, he gave me back the change 10,000 Yuan and I found the mistake, I told him that you paid me more, you need to give me 9,000 yuan only , cause his English not good and confused, I tried to spoke English slowly to explained with him, he still confused about it, and I ask him give me a note paper and I write for him by digit 10,000 and 90,00, and tell him by simple English like:

Me, 9000 Yuan, okay, okay;

No need 10,000 Yuan

You take 1000 back

then he seems like he understands finnaly, but suddenly, a guy comes from the kitchen and told me by Japanese go out and push me !! I thought him got misunderstanding and thought me a problem maker, I am very very upset and angry, I told him that your staff gave me 1000 change more, I told him the mistake and return the money to your shop, why you treat me like this bad attitude ?? his staff tried to explain with him but he still told me :you already getting the change and don't waste our more time, please go fast!

This is really one of the worst moments in my life. I have never ever been treated like this way in any other country. This is so rude and hate way to treat a...

So I hardly ever leave reviews and I'm so reluctant to leave a review of this place because I don't want it to be spoiled by being overrun by tourists but I honestly think this might be the best ramen store in Ginza, and possibly Tokyo. I know people talk about the lousy service and all but that's never mattered to me, in fact the worse the service the better the food usually ends up tasting, it means they're not here to make you feel good they're just here to feed your bellies with some delicious delicious ramen. Straight up, their cha-shu was the tenderest, most delicately delicious cha-shu I had in all the ramen shops I've sampled. And I've sampled more than I care to admit. Moist, juicy, falls apart in your mouth-to-mouth I can't even really concentrate right now cuz I'm thinking about how good their cha-shu was. Let me put it this way, the last time I ate here was two years ago and I haven't forgotten it since and when I came back this time, it was as good as I remembered. Their noodles were chewy and flavourful, their broth rich and complex, their ingredients fresh and very obviously prepared from scratch, and best of all, they leave you alone the entire meal. No hassles. It was amazing. Do yourself a favour and get the machine-gun style tsukumen. That's their dipping ramen, but machine gun style is when it's slightly spicy but so, so, so ridiculously good. It's...
