Kirin City Shinjukuhigashi — Restaurant in Tokyo

I had the worst experience of my life. At this place. I was treated like a common criminal over $13 dollars and I make $150k a year.

Before i sat down, I asked whether my payment method worked. I was assured by 2 workers it was. My food was served. Before I took a bite insisted we assure my payment method worked. It didn’t not work.

I was threatened with the police though I never took a single bite. I spent 20 minutes assuring a form of Payment would function downloading 5 different apps. Foreign phone number prevented any from functioning. 1 eventually worked.

I Pay. They called the police. I demanded an apology from the racist server who called the cops over 13 dollars even though I paid. He refused with a smirk on his face. Some kid who makes $25k.

I left without taking a single sip of drink or bite of food. Missed out on 3 months of a regular customer.

I have never been so disrespected in all my life. Even after they took my pay, i was treated as a criminal.

I do not recommend this place at all....

Had dinner here on our first night in Shinjuku, staff were very friendly helping to explain how the self ordering system worked There was a wide choice of different Japanese and other dishes too as well as lots of different beers to choose from Smaller plates are a nice idea letting you try more than 1 thing which is nice, we came back 2 more times as we liked the food and friendly atmosphere

We've been back again twice on our second visit to Japan, still really enjoy Kirin City, this is definitely a place for beer lovers and non beer...

Yummy food and taste beers! If you like Kirin beers this is a place that you must to visit, it takes a few minutes to get an amazing craft beer, full and rich in flavours. Plus if you order some foods it’s gonna be a perfect match, I ordered some steaks mixed with onions and potatoes.. the bar has English menus and the staff speak good English too so no problem, lot of business man and it is very cozy...
