Kohikan Tosei Hotel Kokone Asakusa-Kuramae store — Restaurant in Tokyo

It's a very chill ambience, a cafe and a good environment. Good place to chill and a fair amount choices of menu to choose from.

We had only desserts as shown in the photos, and my ratings are:

New York Cheesecake - Light, flavourful, tiny hinge of sourness, which makes the cheesecake more appetising. 3.8/5.0

Hot Cakes (Pancake) with Matcha Ice Cream and Azuki Beans - Fluffy pancakes, buttery. Matcha Ice Cream is my favourite flavour, strong macha, not too sweet, and tiny green bitterness hit at the end. 4.5/5.0

Hot Cakes (Pancake) with Chocolate and Berries - Fluffy pancakes, buttery. Chocolate is above average. I've always liked bitter-sweet, and this has that strong cocoa flavour that little bitter-sweet. 4.5/5.0

Cafekan Blend Coffee - This blend of coffee is more towards the fruity and acidic beans. If that's your preference, this coffee is meant for you. However, I like mine strong. 3.0/5.0

Curry Rice - Tasty. Cutlet is tender. However, it is not crispy enough. Curry flavour is well balanced, not too sweet nor salty. 4.0/5.0

Cabonara - Creamy, but flavour is not bold enough. The Bacon needs to be fried more as the aroma has not fully immersed into the sauce, and the porky flavour is too strong. 2.5/5.0

Gratin Bread - Bread is soft in the inside and crispy on the outside. Cream and cheese are flavourful and creamy enough. 3.7/5.0

Charcoal Grill Coffee - Bold, Roasty, and a pinch of acidity. My favourite and came back 3 days for this coffee. And today, I had 2 cups during my breakfast. 4.9/5.0

NEVER ORDER FROM UBER Ordered from Uber Eats at 9:40, estimated time was 20-30 mins. However they kept delaying the delivery time, from 10:20 to 10:30 then 10:50 and eventually 11:00 so over all 1 hour 20 mins after my order I might get the food (but no promise). I called them and the only answer is that the shop is too crowded so they had to push back my order. Sometimes there is delay on Uber/Wolt but an hour is unacceptable. Hope the shop has a better way to manage their orders both on the spot and online. *Note: They gave me 20% off for next order but who wants 20% off if you need to wait triple the...

What a horrible place!! The waiter hated foreigners. It was the lowest level of coffee shop I have every been in Tokyo. Foreigners are not welcome in this coffee shop. We went there with my guests and he deliberately stepped on our feet and never apologized. He did it twice. He was banging all the glasses and plates on the table, and later dropped the tray so hard that it produced a very loud bang. I don't recommend going to this place if you're a foreigner. And if you are Japanese, it is so humiliating for Japanese to see people like this treating foreign...
