This Komeda Coffee Shop is located on the first floor of a business building in Nishi-Shinjuku. All of the cafe's seating, including the terrace, is indoors, so you can use the cafe regardless of the weather. Since there is not much traffic around this building on weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays, some customers try to visit the cafe in anticipation that it will be empty, but it's surprisingly crowded on weekdays, holidays, and weekends, perhaps because other customers think so too. Although not as crowded as during the daytime on weekdays, there is sometimes a line of people waiting to enter the cafe even when it is empty. With the exception of the terrace seats, all seats have partitions (although not high), so the seating structure maintains some personal space for individual use or small groups. There is a buzzer at each seat to call the staff, which must be pressed to call the staff to order. The quality of the staff's service is completely satisfactory, perhaps because they are well versed in serving customers in a crowded weekday afternoon. They serve you with a reasonable sense of distance. The quality of the dishes and drinks served is on par with other Komeda coffee shops. Ramps are provided not only at the entrance of the restaurant, but also at the building's entrance and exit, making it easy for wheelchair users and other physically challenged people to use the restaurant. Another feature of this cafe is that each seat is equipped with an electrical outlet for charging (not available on...
Read moreIf you’re a group of 3 and above prepare for a long wait. Take a number from the machine and wait for a staff to call your number. As they had very limited seating for groups bigger than 2 we had to wait for an hour and a half to be seated. Coffee was decent and the pastry was pleasantly surprising. We were seated outside the main hall but still within the office building however the heaters did not seem to be working well so we had to keep...

Tried the single origin iced coffee and my friend got the milk medium roast, came with small packet of snacks. Good enough but pricey compared to even Starbucks. The service was good, I guess we pay for seat and service...
