I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a Shiatsu massage that was nothing short of remarkable. The therapist’s expertise in deep tissue techniques was evident from the start, addressing the chronic pain in my neck with a level of skill and attention that I haven’t encountered before.
The session was a genuine teaching moment, as the therapist not only provided relief but also educated me on the principles of Shiatsu. This holistic approach not only alleviated my discomfort but also gave me insights into maintaining better neck health.
The ambiance of the massage room added to the experience, creating a tranquil and healing environment. The therapist’s professionalism and compassionate approach made me feel at ease, allowing for a more effective treatment.
I left the session feeling rejuvenated, with a significant reduction in my neck pain. This was not just a massage; it was a therapeutic journey that has set a new standard for me. I highly recommend this service to anyone seeking relief from deep tissue or muscular pain. Truly a...
Read moreSuch a peaceful and inviting place. I had my hotel call to make me a same-day reservation for a one-hour massage in the evening.
It shares an entrance/foyer with a 7-Eleven; you go through the glass doors to the left and take the elevator up to the fifth floor. I got there ten minutes early and was given a warm welcome, slippers, and a seat in their comfortable waiting area while I looked over/signed a short form. You pay up front (it’s cash only).
My clothes-on massage was excellent. It was in a curtained-off, private space with gentle lighting and a table with good ergonomics. All of my trouble spots were effectively targeted. The hour was done before I knew it, and I left the place a much younger man than I entered it.
My thanks to the good people of Goo-It for benefiting me with their...
Read moreOur guide from Tours by Locals, Chie, recommended this massage place as it was close to our hotel. Great shiatsu massage by Okamoto. I fell asleep soon after she started. You have various options like 30, 60, 75, 90, 120 minute sessions and they have mostly male therapists but we were able to request for female therapists. All were Japanese and Okamoto spoke good English. The base rate for 60 mins is 3980 yen and there’s a 300 yen supplement for a female therapist. We also paid 100 yen for clothing to change into, which was a long sleeved shirt and track pants (this is optional). The rooms are divided by curtains but since you’re not naked that’s fine. I think this place is good...
