L'Atelier du Pain Roppongi — Restaurant in Tokyo

Incredible bakery with amazing food that will make you so happy; besides, it has really affordable prices in comparison with its competitors in the area. Roppongi area is full of major contrast, it’s kinda of a high end neighborhood mixed with very urban and suburban vibe. It changes completely at nights becoming more of a bar districts fed either different styles , from high end to doggy establishments. I recommend you buy a few options and you take away those you don’t eat and go to a park, here you can spend max 10€ and you would get two meals of the day while enjoying the city or sitting in a park with a coffee you get...

Really good bakery. Not everything is put out (even by 9:30am..) so come around 11 to be safe if you want full variety. I found the service to be really unfriendly and rushed. Perhaps because they are working hard to wrap everything and have it out for display.

If you tend to be a 4.5 star-or-higher-only snob like me, you’ll miss this hidden gem. It is a perfect little bakery with Japanese and French pastries. my fave was the chocolate mochi bun. It’s connected to a more expensive restaurant but everything here is affordable and grab-and-go or you can sit in front of the huge wood oven and watch the chefs work like we did.
