Super good value, tasty and spicy food.
Lai Mai is situated down a small back alleyway which is popular with high end boutiques and hairdressers.
Arriving at this tiny shop, you order at the front for either takeaway or eat in. The food is already prepared and kept warm, and you choose 3 items alongside rice and small salad for 1200 Yen.
Everything tasted delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful with good English to help us decide.
We were also given a tapioca sago coconut dessert during our meal which wasn’t personally great, but nice regardless. The food is quite spicy, particularly the spicy pork but you’re provided which cold water which helps. The green curry was personally less spicy than the pork. Read moreVisited this place for lunch on the weekend. I ordered 3 sides with rice ( comes with salad and dessert ) but wanted to see more menu… as soon as you go in, you need to decide and order what they have on the counter. The green curry was warm/cold so I wish they served them warmer.
