I was searching for an ice cream shop and was discouraged by reviews of ice cream shops in the area. Then I saw that Lindt has a cafe and ice cream. First, they lured us into buying chocolate but offering each of us a free chocolate sample— the entirety of one of the whole balls. You get your choice of blue, red, or white. The white is white chocolate. The blue is milk chocolate and red is dark chocolate. In the center of each ball is this melty goodness of flavor. We have Lindt stores back home so this was not unfamiliar territory. It is this familiarity that brought me to this shop for ice cream. Back to the chocolate balls, we went to the second floor in search of new flavors or at least flavors unique to Japan and found matcha. While at the bins, we couldn’t help but grab some of our favorite flavors like coconut, caramel, birthday cake, and others. Then we went back downstairs to order our milkshakes and ice cream. The size of the milkshake was something in between what might be a kid’s size and an adult small. It was smaller than the expected. The strawberry milkshake was ok. The mint chocolate was very good but could have used a stronger mint flavor. The ice cream swirl with white chocolate and milk chocolate was good, but also small. The second floor has very limited seating and the third floor has more seating. Third floor has seating next to the windows that face the train station and is a good place for people watching. There is no elevator to the floors and the stairs are steep and narrow (enough room for one...

A delightful Lindt Café experience in the heart of Shibuya! Living in Europe, I’ve enjoyed Lindt chocolates before, but discovering a Lindt Café right by the iconic Shibuya Crossing was a pleasant surprise. The café has a cozy, calm atmosphere with an amazing selection of ice creams, drinks, and, of course, delicious chocolates—perfect for a hot summer day. The location is excellent, making it an easy stop while exploring the area. The only downside is that there’s no seating on the ground floor, which made it a bit challenging to manage with a baby stroller. Still, everything else—from the ambiance to the treats—was beautiful and well...

Visited the store and ordered the seasonal chilled matcha drink. The store was handing out some Lindt chocolate ball samples to customers which was nice. There is a seating area upstairs with a decent view of the busy streets of Shibuya. The matcha drink is a white chocolate base drink which was not too sweet, the strong matcha sauce and pudding at the bottom gives it the rich matcha flavor. The fresh cream on top has a very subtle sakura flavor and the sakura petal on top has a pickled salty taste. It was a pretty good chilled matcha drink; the size is good enough to enjoy without...
