The unassuming entrance to the place is but one door fronting the street. And once you open the door, ypu are led down the stairs to a basement that opens to the restaurant with a long counter and a few private rooms.
We had the lunch course here which lasted for around 1.5 hours. Everything was in small quantities, and everything had a seafood item in it. Each was meticulously presented, with only one dish brought out being explained thoroughly each time. Most of the food were generally tasty and the use of some more uncommon species of everyday vegetables was actually quite intriguing.

Read more和食は詳しくないのですが、もう少しわかりやすく美味しいものがあると万人ウケするのかなと思いました。料理は趣向を凝らしている感があり、パイナップル羊羹や、芽キャベツや新じゃがを入れたおひたし、スモークされた魚の炊き込みご飯など、おもしろいなぁと思う料理が多かったです。3年もののワサビなど、こだわってるなぁと。ひとつひとつの料理は基本的にはおいしい。また、霜降り和牛とかトロとか、これ出しておきゃいいんでしょ感のある料理がないのは個人的に好感が持てました。内装も清潔感があり、明るくて、地下を感じさせない。食器は女将が選んでいるのか、どれも女子ウケしそう。 接待などにはいいのかなぁ。女性の店員さんがもう少しサービスレベル上がればなお良し。 個人として通いたいかというと、値段以上の感動はなかったかな。
