We came across this restaurant at the basement level of the Beams store. Our experience was quite disappointing to be honest. We struggled to gain the attention of the wait staff multiple times (to ask for water or more drinks). We also waited around 50 minutes for our first main which was the hamburger steak. Unfortunately, the hamburger steak was burnt on one side. I believe a restaurant with the facilities that this had, should hold itself to a higher standard and not be burning basic food. Our second dish arrived shortly after which was the seafood pasta. This dish was slightly better. The pasta was overcooked and so was the prawns. However, the fish pieces in the pasta were cooked perfectly. Broken pieces of shell from the mussels could be found within the sauce which was a let down. Overall we would not recommend or return. However, this was our experience and it may have been an off night for the...

Their main draw, as noted by their name, is craft alcohol - beer and gin (possibly whiskey too?). This isn't an American style craft brew restaurant though, as due to size limitations they obviously can't have a large variety of tap beers on hand. Not sure if they change the beer menu with the seasons, but it didn't seem likely.

Other than that, the service was excellent, as in most Japanese restaurants, and the overall vibe was nice - which is...
Read moreSo this was a bit of a mistake. It's below the Beams store, which sells small batch made in Japan clothes, arts, and all sorts - so I assumed the offering in the bar would be similar. It wasn't. Beers were ordinary, I was seated at the bar, but got no interaction from the bar tender. Also so seated next to a particular arrogant and loud couple of yanks, which may have soured the experience somewhat. There are better places for...
