Went in May. Craved for oginiri and didnt want to buy from cobani. Found this place on the map. Saw the display and it looked delicious! Saw that they have set meal and took out my phone to translate, chose a set and placed the order. The cook/owner asked if I would be able to finish it condescendingly (I was with my kid and we ordered the 2 balls with 2 sides and a miso soup). It was for breakfast and my kid, although young has an appetite - we did finish all except the bamboo shoots (not because of the portion, more for the taste).

They were pretty welcoming to the other customers but felt they were rude to me. I ordered fast, ate fast and cleared the trays so I believe I wasn't really a nuisance to them. Oh well, the balls were really yummy though! I would have went on another day but just didnt want have the feeling of inadequate while...

Found this shop on Google and decided to go because of the good ratings. When we reached there, the owner said we cannot eat in the store, which was okay because we were a party of six and the place only had two tables. We requested for the onigiri to be made new (using Google Translate). The owner said okay but went ahead to pack the ready made ones where the seaweed were already soggy. We did not reject as we thought it was because they didn’t understand us. We had to find a place to eat outside. After that, we went back to the store to ask if they could help us to throw the trash away as there were no bins nearby. The owner look confused but obliged in the end, a bit sarcastically. Will not go out of our way to eat onigiri from the store again. Feels that Lawson one’s are...

A small onigiri shop in the busy street of Ningyocho. Enjoy eating your freshly made onigiri while watching the friendly staff makes some onigiri for customers who come there for take out. I ordered the salmon set that he recommends (I asked him to suggest) since I don’t speak Nihonggo. I enjoyed a very hot and delicious hojicha tea, a good miso soup in winter, and a perfect two piece mentaiko salmon and salmon roe onigiri for breakfast. I am so glad I found this shop and I hope to return soon. (i didnt manage to take a better photo of my food. I asked permission from the staff if okay to take photo and he happily agreed and...

The onigiri, miso soup and salad are very yummy. Unfortunately the store manager can occasionally come across as less hospitable, probably due to high workload. Don't try to ask for a recommendation, otherwise you are wasting your time, it can get frustrating. He is probably not trained in leading indecisive customers. 5 stars for the taste ! 3 stars for hospitality ! Size of the restaurant is small, two seats.
