Sushi Bliss in Tokyo's Shinjuku 🍃 Royal Garden Oasis

Quiet and relaxing teahouse within the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden that has sushi and desserts. The staff here were very nice to move some tables together for our group of 5. I ordered the Inari Gozen set meal. The four pieces of inari sushi were delicious with really nice taste combinations with what they used as garnishes. We also got the fruit and mugwort daifuku, which were really tasty. I'm always wary of food places located within attractions but this one seemed pretty reasonably priced and we were all happy with our experience.

Absolutely delightful tea house with onigiri and mochi in Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. The onigiri range from 350-550 yen as of September 2024, and they were all fabulous! the white peach mochi was so good!! We got hojicha, sencha, and genmaicha iced teas - none were sweetened (as it should be), and the genmaicha was our favorite, strong depth of flavor. NOTE you will need to pay to enter the garden to eat here. Well worth it in my opinion, provided you have time to enjoy the gardens before/after your meal.

I had an unforgettable experience here. One of the highlights was dining on the traditional tatami mats, which added an authentic touch to the meal. The atmosphere was serene and truly embodied the essence of Japanese culture.

The food was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were exquisite. One of the standout treats was the mochi – it’s an absolute must-try! The mochi was incredibly fresh my favourite is the...
