I had a simple Gyudon which tasted good and my kid had the bento. Both were very good, my kid especially raved about how her bento was very nice and the ingredients looked/tasted very fresh. A pleasant comfortable room and helpful staff. Food (sukiyaki, soba) and tea (green, houji cha) very good. Lovely window seating to dine and view the garden. A couple days later: just as fine an experience as before. Both times we found no pressing crowds.

It was a bit of everything really and each bite left me in awe. First time trying such ingredients so it was a definitely a pleasant surprise. I’m not even a fan of raw fish, but I greatly enjoyed the one here ! Cute set up as well and there’s dessert, the meal is set at a reasonable price of $25 sgd ! A wonderful way to get away...
