The classy ambiance is at its best. Nestled in the quiet backstreets of the Ginza district, Sanjikken Coffee is a hidden gem that offers a tranquil escape from Tokyo's bustling city life. It's located a short walk from Ginza Station, but you'd hardly notice it unless you were looking for it. Sanjikken is warm and inviting, with a minimalist yet cozy interior. Wooden furniture, soft lighting, and a few well-placed plants create a serene atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding. The space is small, but this adds to the intimate, homey feel. Sanjikken specializes in single-origin brews, offering a rotating selection of beans sourced from around the world. The baristas are skilled and passionate, often happy to explain the nuances of each coffee. My coffee was bright and fruity with a delicate floral aroma. They also offer a delicious chiffon cake that pairs wonderfully with their coffee. The staff at Sanjinken Coffee are friendly and knowledgeable. They make you feel welcome and are always ready to recommend a coffee that suits your taste. The service is prompt without feeling rushed, allowing you to enjoy your coffee at your own pace. A little tips - Go early to grab a seat, as the space is limited. - Ask the baristas for recommendations if you're unsure what to try. - Take a stroll around Ginza after your visit to explore the charming neighborhood. Sanjikken Coffee is a delightful hidden spot for coffee enthusiasts and those seeking a peaceful retreat. Its combination of excellent coffee, cozy ambiance, and friendly service makes it a must-visit for anyone in Tokyo. Will be back soon! Best of luck Sanjikken Love, Bunny

Down some stairs off the street into a cozy basement coffeehouse. It has a calming vibe, somewhat traditional Japanese interior, really lovely. They serve meticulously prepared drip or cold brew coffee, single origin with the source depending on what their buyer felt was best. The desserts are a delight, I had the chiffon cake with fruit but I don't think you could go wrong. It's only a few blocks from the Ginza subway station, we stopped by to check out the high the shops, but ended up only going here.

The aroma, flavourful taste with a sharp edge and the temperature… almost perfect. Probably, the tastiest cup of coffee I had in years. Also, their pot service is enough for 2 cups which makes this café somewhat even reasonable in the heart of Ginza. The calm atmosphere and staff attentive attitude give you a relaxed time under busy Tokyo streets. Highly recommended to come downstairs here for once, and I’ll try some sweets, too, next time.
