The location couldn't be better - right at the heart of Tokyo's bustling Ginza district. From this vantage point, you get a front-row seat to the ebb and flow of Tokyo's cosmopolitan energy. My wife and i travelled to Japan in December 2024 and whilst in Japan, we stopped at this Starbucks every morning. We loved the Ginger Bread Late's and Pizza baggets. This was THE best coffee during our trip in Japan! The staff were very welcoming and kind given that we speak very poor Japanese. If the starbucks reserve has no seating, you can try this location, which is a block away.

Plenty of window seating for one person. I couldn't see outlets near the window seating.

On a Friday afternoon , the place was pack. Majority of seating is upstairs and no elevator available. There is some bar/countertop seating on the first floor.

Japan starbucks by default is always superior...

Just you average Starbucks, the venue is small and has limited seats, makes for a good grab n go vibe, Starbucks is suppose to be fast coffee however I did find myself to wait a little bit. Staff seemed to be a bit frantic even though it wasn’t so busy. There is a plaque on the wall with historical value stating that this is the first Starbucks store in Japan.

The Gohobi melon (only available in tall) has become our absolute favorite. It is fruity with sweet and chewy melon pieces. The staff were also very enthusiastic and friendly. The melon bun has a great filling and as last we got the strawberry and chocolate mochi balls.
