Read moreHusband and I were walking around for 20-25 minutes trying to find somewhere to eat. Everyone told us they were “fully booked” and that’s how we stumbled on this place.
Looks small but they also have an upstairs area. Upstairs is a bit louder compared to downstairs. Truly a hole in the wall/place that seems really fun, go-to place after work. There were a mix of people that looked like they got off work, dates, and families with kids.
For tourist/foreigners - they have an order by QR code system and an English menu available. The DIY rice balls and potato salad were my favorite. Also got a variety of skewers and my favorite of those were the cheese and lamb. French fries were good, cucumber with mayo + plum sauce was good/refreshing. Also got the fried garlic chicken and those were really tasty. Beware that they do have a table charge. Otherwise, staff is cheerful, friendly and welcoming. Food is hot and tasty. Would recommend if you’re...
Read moreThis is one of those places where you have no idea what’s happening, but it’s so much fun! The scene was lively. The staff were friendly. Dinii helped us get our seats and explained the process. She was very kind and helpful. The restaurant is family friendly, we have our 7 yo with us. They have fun interactive games that the patrons engaged with the staff. A table with young children gets a free set of DIY takoyaki to make at the table. May I stressed again how fun this was? We ordered a few drinks and many small dishes, with free cabbage bowl refills. Everything was quite yummy and interesting! Highly recommend it if you’re in the area. Reservation is recommended! But we stumbled upon it and got...
