Seafood Izakaya Restaurant Kaiosakaba Nippori — Restaurant in Tokyo

came here with my family; famished from a day of travelling. and we like how fresh everything is. especially the oysters, my dad loves it. the sashimi on the sushi is pretty fresh as well. love the fried chicken, fried prawn (super sweet), theyre super crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and its such a delight. got the highball, while my sister got the yuzu one. the ratio is done perfectly, though my sister's drink is bit bitter (probably due to the yuzu being on the bottom). at the time we went it was 1900 hrs, it was BUSTLING with people. as a traveller, its nice to see the culture and people enjoying their time here though it could get pretty loud. service was great, had the server who could speak mandarin so that made things easier. everything is affordable....

I ordered Spicy tofu with seafood but I found only tofu. I tried to find seafood but found only 1 small squid tentacle and 1 small clam. But in the picture there are big shrimp and squid. In reality there are only 2 pieces and they are very small. There is 95% tofu. And I ordered fried chicken. In the picture there is mayonnaise. In reality there is only lime. If I got seafood as in the picture, I will give 5 stars. Very disappointed. But the taste of other food...

The seafood was really fresh—especially the shrimp. The grilled squid was perfectly tender and full of flavor, and the tempura was light and crispy, not greasy at all. Great prices for the quality, and the cozy vibe made it a really nice place to relax and with a drink 🥃 . Friendly staff too....
