Hidden gem! This bakery is hidden but don't miss it! Fair-priced as well.
They do not use shortening/transfats/ weird ingredients. Nor do they use preservatives. I don't think it is a chain store so the quality control is decent (chain stores sometimes have lax quality control due to too many bakers!)
Some must tries are: the danish (oh yum!) and the raisin bread (soooo many raisins and super rummy so if you are not a fan of rummy raisins, don't buy this) The cookie bread (メロンぱん)is quite nice. The orange/chocolate bagel is delicious and has a nice chew to it.
The coffee is fresh and not bad. I liked the soup here. On rainy days, the soup is cheaper with a "rainy day discount."
My absolute favorite is the red bean jam and butter petit baguette. I couldn't figure out why it was so delicious. Finally I asked them what kind of butter they use. Calpis butter!!! That's why! It's only like 220yen, too.
The staff are always nice, no matter who it is. They'll gladly cute a loaf into half and slice it, too, upon request.

The reply was a sigh and an expression that seemed tired. Fortunately, another staff member stepped in to help. Even though I was assisted, the way it felt like I was somehow in the wrong left me a little...

My favorites were the nama-donut (which I got on both visits) and the almond crocan. And the staff was unbelievably friendly. The outside seating area was also welcoming. This...
