Such a great cozy restaurant! I was staying around the corner and searched for curry restaurants but some reason this one didn’t come up and happened to walk past it! Leaving a review to boost this place as it’s such a gem with incredible food and VERY fresh and not too heavy even though it’s curry. There are various curry specials every night and you can pick a mix as well as portions and toppings! I had the chicken curry with some Fermented soybeans that were interesting and fantastic! The owner was very warm and welcoming to his guests upon arrival. Upon introducing to me the selection of curries of the day, I chose three types of curries paired with basmati rice. They were beef, chicken and prawn curry cooked in spiced coconut milk. The curries were all freshly made daily and change day by day. AMAZING. Owner/chef was very kind and helpful, knew English very well and personally translated the menu set. Great food, wonderful presentation, friendly and helpful owner/chef, and calm atmosphere. Quintessential Japanese restaurant that is cozy. The plating of the food was also beautifully arranged.
