An Unforgettable Karting Adventure in Tokyo with Yah Kart!

I recently had the absolute pleasure of experiencing Yah Kart’s hidden 2-hour tour in central Tokyo, and it was nothing short of incredible! From start to finish, the service was exceptional.

I booked the tour via email just three days in advance. Originally, I had planned to book for a later date, but due to forecasted rain, I opted for an earlier slot—and I’m so glad I did! What really stood out was their flexibility and customer care.

As someone who has been driving in the US for over 20 years but had never driven on the right side of the road, I was a bit nervous at first. However, the Yah Kart team made me feel completely safe and supported. Since I was the only guest on the 2-hour tour that day, they still provided two guides—one leading the way and another following behind to block traffic during turns and lane changes.

The lead guide was extremely experienced and gave clear, timely signals, which helped me navigate with confidence. They also made sure to stop at key scenic spots for photos, which was a wonderful touch.

When my GoPro ran out of battery mid-ride, they calmly and safely guided me to pull over so I could replace the battery—all without any rush or hassle. It’s this level of patience and professionalism that truly sets them apart.

Everything about the experience was smooth, fun, and well-organized. If you’re looking for a unique way to explore Tokyo with awesome service and an extra dose of excitement, I can’t recommend Yah Kart enough. Five stars without a doubt!

LOVED IT! I booked a noon ride with my best friend and I don't know how but we somehow lucked out and got a trip with just the two of us so we were already off to a good start because it felt like an exclusive lol but even before that, the experience with Yah Kart was amazing! The first big draw is their cars! This is their huge selling point and one that you should definitely consider if you're looking for a karting experience that stands out from the rest! The cars have such a cool retro feel and they have LED wings on the back. They are so unique that even the locals (who are used to seeing so many karts throughout the city) we're stopping and taking pictures! And they are well maintained, clean and go fast so you don't feel like you're riding a little putt-putt through traffic! The guides were amazing, explained everything thoroughly and got us through the process of checking in and getting our costumes and cars very easily. They were husky accommodating and eager to please which made the experience even better. The drive through Asakusa and Akihabara was just long enough and gave a great view and fun experience. You also get to leave with a fun keepsake magnet as part of you booking!...

I had a wonderful experience with Yah Kart on my last evening in Tokyo. I saw the karts when just walking around Asakusa and I immediately fell in love with the design. So I decided to book. I loved the whole experience. They operate very flexible and adjust to customer’s needs. Plus the karts are just great. Good breaks, comfortable and the design is beyond beautiful (we were the main attraction in Akihabara🤭🤣). Also the karts are electric and unlike the “Mario karts” they don’t stink. I can’t imagine sitting in a Mario kart for “very aromatherapeutic” 1-1,5h inhaling all that pollution from karts riding in front of me. So this was also a great advantage. I had a wonderful experience from the beginning to the end. They were also taking pictures (of course) and after we could choose one and they made a wonderful commemorative magnet out of it for us.
