HOTEL TOMOS ASAKUSA — Hotel in Tokyo

What an incredible hotel. I cannot rate this spot highly enough. The level or hospitality we received during our stay was absolutely top notch.

Right from the moment we checked in till the moment we check out, the staff were friendly, attentive and very accommodating of all and any request. Each morning we left to explore Tokyo then return in the evening, we were greeted with a smile and a welcome back, or enjoy your day. The staff asked if we needed any advice on attractions in the local area, or needed fresh towels or a complete room refresh.

The size and quality of the room was impressive, very large by Tokyo standards, also considering we had 4 large suitcases. The bathroom and toilet were nicely set up and had top of the line fittings and amenities.

The room was quiet and well insulated from sound and the weather. The bed was firm, but comfortable and we had a great nights sleep for the 3 nights we stayed.

The rooftop balcony is a very nice touch, with amazing views across the Asakusa area including the Tokyo Skytree, which looked amazing during the day, but even better during the night.

A convenient location, only 9 minutes walk from the Asakusa station, which links to all major metro trains and very easy to get around, including an express service to Haneda Airport. There is also easy access to Taxis and Didi rideshare service from right outside the hotel.

We throughly enjoyed our stay and cannot thank the amazing staff enough for their incredible hospitality. We cannot wait to return to Tokyo...

My first time in Japan and this place did not disappoint! ✌🏼

Not only were the staff so friendly and easy to get along with, they spoke great English and were very hospitable and helpful with our needs and queries. They even recommended a great place to have our items shipped back to NZ. The double room we stayed at was very spacious and the amenities and facilities were so minimal and clean. We even had our own balcony with great views from the top of the hotel overlooking Tokyo Tower!

The hotel had free coffee, tea and water and even a microwave to heat up your late night snacks! To top it off, the fragrance of the place was so great, just something about it that made it seem so fresh and relaxing!

We would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to be within 30mins of Tokyo or Shibuya area! Great place to stay, would...

Hotel Tomos Asakusa was fantastic — we had a wonderful stay! The reception staff were exceptionally attentive, warm, and hospitable, which made us feel truly welcome. The complimentary water, quality coffee, tea, and ice at reception were a huge bonus.

The rooms were spotless, with comfortable beds, excellent showers with a wet room design, and a separate toilet — a big plus. The provided toiletries and products were of a very high standard.

The location is perfect for first-time visitors to Tokyo — just a short walk to the famous temple and close to the Sky Tree. Excellent transport links are available, with the local station only minutes away and a bus stop right at the front door — a great way to get around.
