Starbucks Reserve® Cafe - Shinjuku Marui Main Building 2F — Restaurant in Tokyo

Pros:This location is great for taking a break from shopping and grabbing a snack with a friend. The large windows facing the street allow one to enjoy the busy Shinjuku streets from a distance. There are actually tons of places to sit, but this location is usually extremely busy so finding a seat can be a challenge.The English speaking staff is extremely friendly and accommodating to foreigners which makes the experience very smooth and familiar to any travelers. As with most International chains in Japan the menu includes a variety of Japan-only items.Charging locations are present along the window seats. There are tables big enough for traveling parties to sit but these can be hard to get a hold of. This is also a "Starbucks Reserve" location, which is both good and bad.

Cons: The location is usually extremely busy, so finding seating, being in line, and receiving your item can take more than some are used to. This is in part because of the location, the shop sits on the second floor of a huge shopping center with tons of tourists. Most Starbucks in Japan do not offer enough charging locations, so I will just say neither does this one. Usually you can find a single seat along the far window facing the street though.With so many tourists it is often hard to navigate the restaurant with bags and luggage constantly in the way. Lastly my biggest issue with this location is the Reserve experience. The Reserve bar is near the entrance, and you have to walk by it before getting to the regular counter. This makes for an lack of intimacy and magic which the Reserve bar COULD have if it were better placed. In my opinion, moving the bar towards the far side so that it was facing the street with the barista facing the customer would take away some of that noise and allow for the coffee lover (presumably those who would pay more for coffee) to fully enjoy the experience and have some intimacy. 彼がレビューを書いたのですが、私も怒り収まらずなので投稿します。 3/27(木)、お天気が良く食事の後に喉が渇いたので彼の妹にもらったスタバカードがあるのを思い出し近くにちょうどお店もあったので寄ることにしました。 2Fと8Fにあるようでしたが、2Fの方に寄りました。

やや並んでおり5分くらい待ったところで2機レジがあったうちの奥の女性に誘導されました。 最初からやや違和感を感じる印象でした。

並んでいる間にメニューを渡されず、携帯でチラッと見た程度でしたのでレジでメニューを見ながら悩んでいたのですが、彼がコーヒー以外を飲みたかったのでオススメされた''ゆず＆シトラスティー''を注文。その後、もうしばらく悩んでいると「他にご注文はございますか？」と不親切な声掛け。メニューを見ているんだから悩んでいる事は見て分かるはずですし、サポートして下さるのであれば「お好みなどございますか？」等の声掛けが妥当だと思います。 私は甘過ぎると苦手なのでミルクコーヒーが気になっていましたが甘いかどうか聞くと、「そんなに甘くないです。でも異様に人気があります。」と変な説明でした。 それからお会計に進むと電子マネーかクレジットしか使えないとの事。だったら最初にそう説明すべきでは？「現金以外でお支払いの方〜」と提示してから誘導すべきだし、もう片方のレジに並んでいたのに誘導してきて現金が使えないなんて意味不明でした。黒エプロンを着用されていましたが、なにかすごいレベルが高い方の証なんですか？全然です。 声もちっさくてよく聞こえないし、とても感じが悪く嫌な気持ちになったので「どうしてそんなに感じ悪いんですか？」と思わず言いました。でもその女性は「はて？」というような顔をしてスルーです。

彼も違和感を感じていたようでドリンクを待ちながら話していると、ドリンクカウンターにいる黒エプロンの男性も目の前にいる人にしか聞こえないくらいの声で呼び出しをしていて、そんな小さい声じゃ当たり前に呼び出されていても分からないので私たちが頼んでいないドリンクが先に出来上がっていましたがしばらくカウンターに置かれたままでした。フラペチーノ系は溶けてしまうと思います。 その後、自分たちのドリンクの片方ミルクコーヒーが出来上がりましたが次に作られていたのが抹茶フラペチーノで、レシートもゆず＆シトラスティーではなく抹茶フラペチーノになっていてオーダーミスされました。 なんの謝罪もなく「すぐ作りますね」と言われ、お会計も違ってくるんじゃない？と彼と話しているとレジの女性が来て「料金は全く同じなので大丈夫ですよ♡」とミスしているのにこれまた謝らないどころか料金一緒だから大丈夫〜という感じで笑顔で言ってきたのでさすがに腹立って「料金が同じだったら良いわけじゃないですよね？！先にまず謝りなさいよ！」と言いました。その際、ドリンカーの男性（この方も黒エプロンでした）はマスク越しでしたが笑っていました。。

プレゼント頂いたスタバカードで、大事に使おうと思っていて久しぶりに立ち寄ったスタバで楽しみに使ったカードだったのに本当にイライラして腹が立ちました！！！！スタバってこんなにレベル落ちたんですか？！？ ドリンク作成中にTシャツの袖に口を当ててくしゃみをしてるスタッフもいましたよ？！飲食店ですよね？

他の評価の低い口コミもスタバの幹部の方々は目を通しておられないんですか？ ガッカリです。。もちろんこちらの店舗は二度と利用しませんし スタバも店舗数だけ増やしていって接客や人間性のレベルがこんなに落ちたとは思いませんでした。お金払って嫌な思いしたくないです。

Reserve Starbucks coffee with amazing friendly staff. Worth the visit, best Starbucks in Shinjuku area. The non-English speaking staff were friendly enough to find Nao to help guide us through the extensive reserve coffee bean selection. Nao communicated her passion and inspired us to wait for the reserve cold brew experience (which took 5 or so minutes to brew). Can be quite busy but fast turnaround and hardworking team for quick turnaround. Must try Starbucks...
