Suju Dining Rokkaku at Tokyo Midtown offers a captivating Japanese dining experience. During our recent visit, my wife and I were enthralled by the culinary delights, attentive staff, and the enchanting view from our elevated seats overlooking the bustling kitchen. It was a treat to witness the skilled chefs crafting each dish with precision and care.
We indulged in several dishes, but two, in particular, left a lasting impression: the vibrant tuna and olive tartar, bursting with freshness and flavor, and the tender grilled chicken thighs marinated in miso, a perfect balance of savory and sweet notes. The wine selection complemented our meal impeccably, enhancing the overall dining experience.

And the staff never seemed to care or smile much (it wasnt even a busy night). After finally getting the food, three of us wanted to just taste the karaage, so we ordered 'three pieces' in japanese. What did we get? Three PLATES of karaage with a total of 15 pieces! That was so bad it was funny!
I would give this a 1 star, but admittingly the food did taste good. But I would not recognize this...
Read moreSoju is our favorite izakaya in Tokyo. It combines a lively atmosphere with a classy vibe, and the food and drinks are exceptional. The staff and management are genuinely welcoming. We discovered Soju in 2023 and dined here twice. Now, a year later, we are pleased to see that it has maintained its wonderful atmosphere and delicious cuisine. This time, we chose their set menu, and it did not disappoint! Overall, our experience at Soju remains outstanding, and we look forward to visiting again...
