Don't go here! The photos may look pretty, but the food is nothing special, wait times are so long, and the service is downright rude.
Three of our party of five ordered and stood outside to wait. The server took 40+ minutes to make the order (a sandwich and coffee each, since you're required to order a drink with every order, which is another ridiculous part since the drinks are watered down). But, that would have been okay if the server hadn't been rude and totally over his job from the start, with an attitude when ordering, yet a complete control freak, too. He told us that the two who hadn't ordered weren't allowed to stand in front of the shop. This would make sense if it was busy, a crowd, in the way of people walking or others... It was empty. EMPTY.
(It was likely empty because service is so bad... And the fruit sandwiches and drinks nothing special either)
Skip. Definitely skip. Try the Fuglen waffles or the sweet potato chips from Imoyasu if you're in the area. Skip this place and their horrible service and mediocre,...

On our second day, we decided on two Iced Brûlée Lattes and it became our go-to before we started our adventures.
The people working there always greeted us with a warm welcome, I wish I got their names.. The space is also nice and cozy.
Ultimately, my boyfriend and I love Sukemasa Coffee and we dream of coming back to Japan! When we do, we'll be back at Asakusa ordering our...

The barista was lovely and so friendly! At one point, I managed to knock over my drink and she quickly and efficiently cleaned it up, responding kindly to my embarrassed apologies. She then went above and beyond and actually remade my drink for me! Asakusa’s location isn’t the most convenient for me but I’ll definitely be back to try their coffee as well. A wonderful cafe with some wonderful people. Please do check it out, especially if you want to take a break from the nearby tourist-packed...
