Suphab タイカフェ has quickly become one of my favorite lunch spots in Tokyo. Nestled in the Marumatsu Ceramics Building in Nihonbashihamacho, this charming café offers a delightful blend of modern ambiance and authentic Thai flavors. The welcoming atmosphere and the gracious service from the staff make every visit enjoyable.

The menu is a treasure trove of Thai classics and creative dishes. One of my personal favorites is the Crispy Pork with Stir-fried Basil, where the perfectly cooked pork is crispy on the outside and tender inside, paired with fragrant basil and a spicy kick. Another standout is their Tom Yum Kung Fried Rice, which brings the tangy, spicy essence of Tom Yum soup to a hearty fried rice dish topped with fresh shrimp. The fusion-inspired Gaeng Som Udon is another must-try for its rich flavors and unique twist.

No meal here is complete without their signature Thai Iced Tea. Sweet, creamy, and refreshing, it’s the perfect drink to complement the bold flavors of the dishes.

The team, led by Chef Hongtae and his team, are incredibly friendly and passionate about their craft, ensuring every guest has an unforgettable experience. Conveniently located near Suitengumae Station, Suphab is the perfect place for a satisfying and flavorful lunch and dinner. Whether you’re a Thai cuisine fan or new to the flavors, this café is a gem that’s not...

Pictures are overly edited. Quality of the food is just ok.

Staff is rude.

Updating my response since owner is not being truthful about the situation. We sat next to each other on the table, which is common everywhere, and he didn’t make it clear where he wants us to sit, he gestured rudely using his fingers pointing to the other side of the table, so we moved. We forgot our water bottle unintentional when we left, and he chased us out of the door rudely. As for the food, the portion is pathetically small and over priced. The smell from the kitchen is extremely unbearable, it has no ventilation, overall it was a terrible experience, don’t recommend it for anyone. The owner’s defensive response speaks more about his manner and the way he runs...

The food is tasty, and the decor/atmosphere is nice, but we found it overpriced, and did not like the “must buy a drink” policy. If you are buying food, why should you also have to buy (expensive) drinks? The tom yam rice was very tasty, but at an additional ¥650, I was surprised how small the piece of pork was (see picture). Because of the drink policy, I ordered and alcoholic beverage, but I couldn’t taste the gin and would not order it again, and my wife ordered a Thai milk tea, but it wasn’t hot, and she didn’t enjoy the flavour. For 2 dishes and 2 drinks, we paid over ¥6000, and certainly felt that we could have done much better for our...

Operated by Thais. Nice atmosphere. Food 🍲 All dishes are freshly made. The taste, aroma, and the spiciness is authentic (you can also ask for less or more spiciness). There are some special/seasonal menu you can enjoy. Drink 🍹 Thai tea is really recommended. You can choose many tea leaves from different area of Thailand. There are also many fancy Thai cocktails/mocktails you can enjoy Sweets 🍨 I recommend coconut ice cream, which is really authentic. There are some small toppings you can enjoy with it too!
