Came here after lunch for some sweets and decided to order their original chocolate parfait, a hot chocolate, and two pieces of chocolate. The parfait has different chocolate components where you can enjoy the different textures and varying intensity of dark chocolate flavors; the unique point is the lychee sauce which added a vibrant fruity taste. For the hot chocolate, there were three different cacao beans to choose from. I had the Haiti cacao which has a roasted nutty flavor; it was rich and tasty. The two chocolate pieces I had were the sansho (japanese pepper) and shiso (japanese basil) flavors; the sansho one was very tasty, flavor was pleasant without the numbing spice effect. As for the shiso chocolate, the flavor was very subtle, maybe because of all the chocolate I had already consumed. Also bought a chocolate flavored canelé and financier for takeout and they were nice, especially the financier. I am a chocolate fan and I am used to eat a lot of imported chocolate from various countries, and I am quite demanding on the quality. Today I visited the shop, and had their Parfait Ice Cream. The balance of taste was a real pleasure, and the marriage with the Lychee sauce was surprisingly very good. The shop itself is elegant and offers enough space for taking a coffee or ice break, with a view on the Atelier. The shop would deserve to be in a more passing area (currently at the back of the hotel in a small street but easy to find with Google Maps) Raw chocolate bars (single origin) are sold and samples are available to test. Manufactured chocolates bonbons are also available but I did not tested. Only regret, pricing is suitable for Presents or Special occasion but it is not sustainable as a daily consumption good for chocolate lovers (50g tablet is 1000 JPY, Bonbon is...

Shaved ice is phenomenal and it is a nice shop.

I'll definitely go back as the shaved ice is so good it tastes and feels like you are eating gelato. If you close your eyes and taste some flavours they are basically indistinguishable which is quite amazing!

Those Food Boat shaved ice machines do a phenomenal job when used with perfectly made ice. I can't wait to go back!!!
