Sushiro - Asakusa Azumabashi — Restaurant in Tokyo

During my recent visit to Sushiro Asakusa Azumabashi, I was thoroughly impressed by the overall dining experience. Sushiro is well-known for offering high-quality sushi at an affordable price, and my experience there certainly lived up to this reputation. The sushi was not only fresh but also beautifully presented. Each piece of sushi was crafted with care, using high-quality ingredients that truly made a difference in taste. The salmon and tuna were particularly delicious, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that’s hard to beat.

One of the standout features of Sushiro is the conveyor belt system, which adds an element of fun and convenience to the dining experience. It’s incredibly satisfying to watch your favorite sushi glide by on the belt, ready for you to pick up and enjoy at your leisure. The variety of options available was impressive, from traditional nigiri and sashimi to more innovative rolls that offered a modern twist on classic flavors.

The service at Sushiro was also excellent. The staff was attentive and efficient, ensuring that plates were cleared quickly and drinks were refilled promptly. Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff maintained a high level of professionalism and friendliness, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is casual and relaxed, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The seating is comfortable, and the overall design of the restaurant is modern and clean, with a vibrant energy that adds to the experience.

Como todos los de la cadena el sushi barato pero delicioso.

Al entrar tendrás que ir a la máquina de recepción para seleccionar el número de comensales y o bien sacar tu ticket de espera (con un número que irán avisando en una pantalla si está todo completo) o bien tu número de mesa.

En el caso del número de espera tendrás que volver a esa misma máquina cuando sea tu turno. Escanear el QR y entonces te darán el ticket con el número de mesa asignado.

Es posible que mientras esperas veas que asignan gente a personas que han entrado después de ti. Es normal, es o bien gente que ha reservado o bien un número de personas superior o inferior al tuyo. Asignan las mesas según el número de comensales. Si sois 2 y se libera una mesa de 4 darán prioridad a un grupo de 4.

En este Sushiro en concreto no tuvimos ninguna espera y había muy poca gente.

Cuando te sientes en la mesa verás que hay una tablet con dos botones en japonés. Dale al de abajo y después arriba a la izquierda verás como cambiar de idioma.

Después solo te queda pedir platos. No puedes pedir más de 5 si son pescados diferentes, te dejarán pedir unos 3. Una vez le des a ordenar, no tardará mucho en aparecer tu sushi en la cinta superior.

Aprovecha ese tiempo para coger vasos de la parte superior de las cintas, los palillos si no están arriba suelen estar en una cajita en la mesa, y servilletas.

A parte en la mesa o arriba encontrarás toallitas húmedas para limpiarte la cara y manos antes de comer.

En la mesa verás que hay salsa de soja y de pescado (calamar, etc).

El wasabi, sal, pimienta y especias las encontrarás recorriendo un circuito por la mitad del restaurante en la cinta de abajo. Si no te ha dado tiempo a coger no te preocupes que volverán a pasar en breve.

En la mesa también encontrarás dos cajitas una de ellas con jengibre, muy diferente del que conocemos en España. Y otro con té verde.

La bebida gratuita del local es té verde. Tienes un grifo con agua caliente en la mesa y té para ponerle a tu gusto.

Si quieres otras opciones de bebida puedes pedirlas por la tablet. Aviso que yo pedí "white water" pensando que era agua normal y me llegó una bebida con sabor a medicina para la garganta 🤣

Tu sushi llegará en la cinta más pequeñita que hay sobre la grande.

Cuando te hayas quedado satisfecho/a tendrás que ir a la tablet y dar al botón de check out. Te llevará a una página con todo lo que has pedido, revisas, y das okei para que te de paso al pago.

Con el mismo QR que te han asignado irás a las máquinas de la entrada o salida (dependiendo del Sushiro), que son diferentes a la de "Recepción" y podrás escanear tu QR y pagar con tarjeta o efectivo.

Si en algún momento tienes alguna duda o incidencia desde la tablet se puede llamar a los camareros. Pero recuerda que no tienen porque saber inglés.

Dicho esto 100% recomendable la visita. Después de esto me va a costar comer sushi en España.

No tengas miedo de probar otros pescados si te gusta el sushi verás que hay muchos sabores aparte del salmón y el atún que están deliciosos. Y aunque en España no te guste el atún (como a mí) dale una oportunidad al otoro, a mí me...

I really enjoyed it here. Don't make the same assumption I did though! I thought this would have less of a wait time because the area looked much quieter (it was night time and the streets were almost empty), but it was actually packed inside! Waited for over 40 minutes before we got seated.

While this Sushiro was a bit more crammed with smaller tables for two, and a small tablet instead of the big TV thing, the most important thing still held true: great and perfect tasting food for a reasonable price!

So if you're just wandering around after finishing stuff near the Sky Tree, or happen upon this place and are hungry for sushi, definitely stop by if you don't mind...
