Unbelievable experience. If I could give 10 stars, I would. The food is so delicious, words can't even describe it. We had the dinner set of a chicken bowl. The chicken was amazingly seasoned, and the rice was very tasty. The set also comes with miso soup and salad. To say the portions are sizeable is an understatement!

The owner is incredibly friendly and generous as well. He was very kind and polite and also speaks excellent English! Amazingly enough he felt our chicken bowls didn't have enough chicken (we certainly thought there was plenty!) so made us a curry. The curry ended up being the best I've had while in Japan. Just so nicely spiced and full of flavours.

This place is a hidden gem, across the bridge from the main tourist area. It is well worth a visit. The relaxed ambiance, the kind owner, and the AMAZING food are very...

This place has two highlights! The food but just as much the owner, Toru who is just too kind and friendly. We enjoyed the food so much we went back a second time! We ordered the set menu bowls and they were super delicious. You can tell that here is somebody who likes to cook and serve with passion. Toru was even so kind to split the meal into two bowls since it was just too much for one person. Beware, if you order a big bowl you definitely need to have a gigantic appetite. We'll definitely come back next time we are in...

The one man operation restaurant did not disappoint!

Food was great, ambience was quiet and cozy. Unlike all the busy restaurants in Tokyo. The chef/ owner has been in business for 12 years and it's amazing he is still going strong!

He took extra effort to split up the large pork bowl to 3 small ones as my 2 kids shared the bowl with their mother. Totally read our minds!

As this is a 1 man operation, do understand that you might not be served fast once...
