Poor check in: The Table was not tidy up and ready when we were assigned to it. Staff asked us to wait outside again so they could tidying it up. 2.The flat screen computer was out of service, so we were given a Japanese one, which we were fine, until we were given another one, and, surprisingly another one. Yes, In total, we used 4 ordering PCs during the course of the dinner. 3.Needless to sag, orders were mixed up as we kept changing ordering PC, to the extend we completely lost touch of our orders. 4.Cashier was another mess till the end. The waitress stopped us from paying and she needed to count again. We were totally lost.
Overall, absolutely no Japanese hospitality quality. Food were very so so, the size and quality of the same type of sushi can be varied as you re order...
The only upside is prices were not high. So it is a perfect place for cheapstake customers who cannot afford real Japanese Sushi and Hospitality.
As for us, we'd unlikely to go back there again. さようなら.
This is the First Japanese Restaurant we ever gave a single...
Read moreSushiro Shibuya Station Square is located on the 6th floor. As you come out, you need to register for a ticket and you will be called once your table is ready. Once your number is called, you scan your ticket with the QR code at the Guide machine, which will print your table number.
Once at your table, it's self serve napkins, cups and bowls and then you order what you want using the huge touch screen in front of you and it will be delivered on a conveyor belt right to your table.
There was a big menu and all at affordable prices with a number of sushi plates around the 150 yen price. We spent about 8000 yen but that was because we wanted to try everything we could including desserts. Some of the standouts were the salmon and camembert nigiri, steamed egg, eel nigiri as well as the creme brulee slice as well as the melon sorbet. Most items are really good and just as well as we had to wait about 20 mins for a table. They stop you ordering at 45 mins and then kick you out after 60 minutes.... guess they have to keep them...
Read moreIts Sushiro. If you don't know about, its a conveyor belt sushi where you order sushi off a tablet and it is delivered to you. Drink cups and wet towels are up top. There's matcha powder and hot water for each table/counter seat. If you just want water, its located somewhere in the shop and you'll need to get up to get it. Anyways, I think its good value. You get what you pay for. Don't expect the best/freshest fish or the largest slab of fish with every piece of nigiri as it isn't that kind of place.
Cool, you know what to expect from nearly every sushiro you will visit while in Tokyo. What about Shibuya station? Its on the 5th floor and requires an elevator ride. The lobby is very small given its proximity to one of the busiest stations in Tokyo/World. As such, it can get very crowded up there.
If you have flexibility, I'd highly suggest just dining here later in the night (like 8pm or later) as the lobby, while still crowded, won't be...
