The most friendly and kind staff with some of the best oysters and desserts. My partner and I chose this restaurant as it was our anniversary and we love oysters. The staff was kind and chatted with me in Japanese and when I felt stuck would do their best in English too. The menu was also in English which made the decisions much easier.
I had never had Japanese oysters before but they are highly recommended !! We come from America but had never experienced such complex flavors and the immense size. Don’t be afraid of the price, you will certainly be full.
We each had 7 oysters, the special oyster dish, some fries, a few drinks, desserts and the pickles. Everything was great.
In passing I had mentioned to the waitress it was our anniversary. The staff came out with all of the desserts and a happy anniversary message written on it. Truly above and beyond service, way above my expectation! We were so touched we decided to buy the staff a round of drinks. Each staff member came by to cheers with us and express their thanks for the drinks too.
They made our anniversary so special for so many reasons but truly most above them all was the kindness and patience we received.
Each oyster is labeled with a location, type, and the fisherman who caught it. I can highly recommend the Hyogo prefecture oysters.
If you are American and used to smaller oysters, these will be far more meaty and substantial. We normally order 12-24 oysters for both of us but these 7 were plenty to fill us up. Please visit them and...
