Tsukiji Kagura Sushi Annex offers a sushi experience that tantalizes the taste buds, though not without a couple of peculiarities.
The sushi, undoubtedly the star of the show, delivers on flavor. Each piece is a testament to the chef’s skill, presenting a symphony of tastes that make for a delightful culinary journey. From the freshness of the fish to the expertly seasoned rice, Tsukiji Kagura Sushi Annex maintains a high standard of sushi craftsmanship.
However, a peculiar note enters with the ocha tea. While tea is often a soothing accompaniment to sushi, the fragrance of the ocha here might not appeal to everyone. It’s an acquired taste, and some patrons may find it divergent from their expectations.
As for the pricing, Tsukiji Kagura Sushi Annex leans towards the higher end. The quality of the sushi justifies the cost for many, but those on a budget might find it a bit steep.
In conclusion, Tsukiji Kagura Sushi Annex is a haven for sushi enthusiasts seeking a gastronomic adventure. Embrace the unique notes in the tea, savor the expertly crafted sushi, and be prepared for a dining experience that, while a bit pricey, promises to be memorable for...
Read moreA sushi place for foreign visitors. And the 50+ age waitresses gave really bad service in Japanese level. i ordered ¥7700 set while the quality was like ¥3500 for the same level local sushi place. the sushi itself was really soso, the fresh oysters were not fresh, and the a la cart sushi is averagely more that a double price of the market price of the “same level sushi place” yet not tasty. I am emphasizing the level of everything should be like the budget sushi place, while here took more than the double price. I rarely gave this kinda rating but the experience was so bad that i want to let people to beware. this place is too disappointing that i didnt even take a photo… Instead you could choose the same level sushi place “sushi zanmai すしざんまい” in the same area. It is cheap and the fish are very fresh but...

We sit there, ordering only 2 dishes, and they directly showed resentment towards us.
If you want to get in, get in. But I highly recommend you check the many 1 star reviews in advance. We’re one of the many customers who...
