I have been Japan for many times and I love eating sushi a lot. I tried 3 restaurants here in this area, and this is the 4th restaurant i try.
Unfortunately, the is the worst sushi restaurant I have ever had in Japan. I ordered two sets of dinner set. None of the sushi is looking good nor worthy to its price. The one I bought from supermarket was even much better than the one I ordered here. Another fact was that there is no local here. It was all serving travelers.
Here is what I experienced and observed .
The waiter invited wrong guest to reserved table.
The rice is cold and not well mixed with Mirin/ other seasonings. There were uneven seasonings in this rice. Some are cold, some are warm. Some are salty, some are tasteless.
The towels for wiping hands are cold.
Another table of customers are arguing their pre payment of the meal and the waiter required them paying the bill again.
I didn’t finish my whole meal. I try very few of the rice. And I left the worst restaurant of entire Japan. If Google allows me the weight

In the alley to the right after leaving the gate, you can find an indoor food court where the same food has half the price of this place, and all Japanese instead of foreign people eat there. In contrast, this place is basically an internet creation, with most of customers being foreigners.
Speaking of foreigners, for some reason, one of the older waitresses seems a bit rude, pushing and shoving customers when they are waiting in line. At the same time, foreigners of other ethnicities have to queue, but white people can swagger in and sit wherever they want. Of course, the good thing is no matter what kind of white you are, as long as you're white, you don't have to wait in line.
The picture is from the adjacent food court which has a much lower local price.
Except for the price and service, the taste of this restaurant is not bad and most of the young waiters provide good service; but the soy sauce is saltier than the average Japanese...
Read moreExcellent uni bowls here! But CASH only. I didn't have any, so I went to the corner Lawson ATM to get cash. (110 yen ATM fee extra...)
Don't know why people come here so early in the morning and waste time waiting around in the deadly heat when they can get seated straight away in the evenings. Tsujiki is really calm on evenings; I got a counter seat straight away at 7:30pm.
Got the half uni and half salmon roe bowl for 5,600 yen. For me, it was the perfect size - not too big or too small. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just uni can get decadent so I thought going half and half would balance it out with the nice and salty salmon roe. All delightfully fresh ingredients and the servers & chef does speak enough English to take orders and etc. You get what you pay for - I wouldn't listen to the other Google whiners about the price. The thing is that this is a uni speciality restaurant: they go through a lot of it (meaning constant fresh flow of fresh uni). You can be assured that the uni is very fresh...
