We went to this restaurant which turned out to have a grill at every table and we were supposed to cook everything ourselves, fried omelettes and what not. We were stressing out so the waiter intervened and made it for us. We just wanted noodles and it turned out to be a DIY ordeal. The overworked staff did the best they could to help us. The restaurant was very hard to find, you go inside an entrance that looks like a different restaurant, but turned out to be an atrium. Google maps was not helpful.

江戸Norenは入ったことがなく、はいってみると、なんと！土俵があるじゃないですか。テレビでみると大きく見えても、思ったよりも小さいんだなあ～なんて思いながら、そのすぐ近くのもんじゃ焼きのお店 月島もんじゃ もへじ両国へ。 店内はオープンスペースで、すこしごちゃっとした感じですが、休日の夕方早めに入ったのに、結構な入り。店員さんにきくと、場所中はもっと来店客が多く、しかも外国人も多いのだとか。そうそう、もんじゃやお好み焼きって外国人には人気なんだよね。 まずはプレモルの生ビールで乾杯！これこれ、夏はやっぱりビールが美味しい～。 ベジファーストで、トマトとしらすと大葉サラダをチョイス。ごろっとおおぶりにカットしたトマトの上にたっぷりとしらすと大葉がのっていて、さっぱりとしたサラダです。 おつまみ代わりに、きのこ盛りバターとホタテバターをオーダー。両方とも店員さんが手際よくテーブルにセットされている鉄板で焼いてくださいます。 きの子は、しめじ、えのき、舞茸のもりあわせ。たっぷりのバターで炒めていただくと、バターの風味がよくきのこについて、美味しい～ホタテも大ぶりで、バターとの相性も抜群。鉄板の上からとっていただくので、いつまでも冷めないのがいいよね。 ここで、お久しぶりの獺祭。飲みやすいからつい、飲んじゃう笑。 さてメインは、もちろんもんじゃ！一番人気の海鮮もへじスペシャル。おすすめだという、チーズと麺もオプションでつけましたよ。 いかやたこなどの海鮮も入っていますが、たっぷりと塩辛がのっかっているのが珍しいもんじゃのタネ。見た目もとてもボリューミーです。 店員さんが手際よくつくってくださり、あっという間に出来上がり。自分でつくりたいという方は自分でつくることもできますが、私はこういうのは手慣れているお店の方にお任せします。 麺やチーズが入っているから洋風でもあり、でもいかやたこなどの噛み応えのある食感の食材と混ざって、フーフーいいながらいただける美味しいもんじゃです。麺を入れるとやっぱりボリュームアップですね。塩辛の塩気もあれだけの量だから少し心配しましたが全然気にならなかったです。 お好み焼きは、シンプルな豚玉にチーズをトッピング。豚玉ってお好み焼きの王道だから好きで、私の中でお好み焼きといったら、これかな。マヨネーズや海苔、ソースの上にたっぷり鰹節をふりかけていただく豚玉は絶品。 元々母体が魚屋さんだそうで、いいものが入った時にだけ出す数量限定のカジキマグロガーリックステーキをお薦めされ、それならと追加でいただくことに。 結構な大きさのカジキマグロの上に、たっぷりのガーリックがのっていて、これは帰りくさいかも、なんて気になったので、ガーリックの量は減らしていただいたのですが、おろしポン酢のたれでいただくと、とてもさっぱりして美味しい魚肉ステーキでした。 提供できる日とできない日があるので、あればぜひオーダーをおススメした一品です。 スイーツは、黒蜜きなこの抹茶アイス。ひんやりとして甘いスイーツを最後にいただき大満足です。 ごちそうさまでした。

we went here close to closing time (~9:30 pm, last order is 10:00 pm) so we were a bit worried, but the staff were very accommodating! this was our first time trying monja and it was very delicious. our server had the best recommendations :)! she also spoke english very well so you don’t need to know a lot of japanese if you come here. overall we really loved the food and great service, definitely come if you have the chance!

A great surprise, best okonomiyaki I had! We got here almost by chance, and received a warm welcome by all the staff, they have an english menu and they explained everything. They serve classic japanese grill style cuisine specialized in Okonomiyaki, every table has its own grill. The food was delicious, and Violet and their collegues cooked for us a great meal! We will be back for sure! Arigatou gozaimasu!

It's my first time trying Monja and Okonomiyaki. It was so yummy!! I gave the service 5 stars because of Yuma san, she is so cheerful, helpful and professional, Tsukushima Monja Moheji restaurant is so lucky to have her working with them 🫶🏽 She helped us to choose the recommeded menu and patiently explain us the menu with smile. We have a really good experience in this restaurant. Thank youu 😆.
