Mixed reviews. Good food. Poor customer service (though only the senior guy staff)
I always eat here as it is very close to Todai. Most food are delicious except their new offering of Soy Meat. I didnt like it, I am not expecting for a true delicious meat taste but its taste is strong and awful for my taste. My favorite dish here is the ガツンとニンニク~やみつき豚キャベ定食 its healthy, low calorie and delicious!
Well about the guy senior staff, he was so rude and cannot get a sense of how to be considerate to a customer.
I am not expecting a royal treatment, dont get me wrong.
Basically what happened, when i came, they are doing something in their payment machine so i cannot use it. They let me inside to order first and pay later. And then while eating, i was asked to pay bec. the machine is already working. I hate that kind of gesture as for me, they should let anyone eat in peace. I told the staff to please let me eat first and she sense what "letting a customer eat in peace" mean so she didnt persist. Also, the machine is near the door so it would be convenient if i will just pay before leaving.
And then there's this senior guy staff who came to my table and keep on repeating that i need to pay. He didnt go away even i tried saying "wait" in Japanese. I even said they dont have to worry I WILL PAY. But he didnt go and still pestering me to pay. His voice is becoming louder and louder as he repeatedly pestering me. Obviously, this guy staff does not have a sense of good customer service nor being a little considerate. I just want him to wait while I will put my bag and stuff together and be ready to leave and then pay. But HE SIMPLY CANNOT WAIT for me to pack my stuff.
I know Japanese are rigid on their rules but in the first place, in this case, their machine was unusable when i came. if it was working, then i will pay first as per their standard ordering procedure. Since its their fault of having the machine unusable, I do not deserve to be treated like that. Shame to that guy staff who knows how to ruin a good...
