👑🐷 King Kogi here with a delicious chicken ramen review with a surprising umeboshi (pickled Japanese plum) twist.

☔️ A cold rainy day spurred me to find comforting, creamy ramen.

Torifuji is the satisfying creaminess you want from Tonkotsu ramen without the heavy-oily aftermath 🙌🏻 I even went for a walk afterwards and didn’t fall unconscious from heavy stomach feelings 🥴

🐓🍜 特濃鶏命湯麺 (my order) The noodles were delicious, medium in size and slightly flat which helped the thick broth cling nicely. A thin noodle would have disappeared in the broth and a super fat noodle would have been overwhelming.

🍃 The umeboshi and shiso added on top were such an excellent palette cleanser between slurps; they balanced with the broth so nicely.

🥓 The charshu was one thick piece, slightly fatty but very soft and easily fell apart in my mouth. I think bits of pork crackling were inside the broth too as some mouthfuls had a delicious bacon-like taste.

🧄 If you ask, fresh garlic and a press is available and I recommend it!

🍚 You can add on an end meal “toppings” of rice + umeboshi, shredded shiso, and roasted sesame seeds. You add it to your left over broth and it is delicious. Add the white vinegar half way through for a whole new...

Authentic and Delicious – A Must-Visit in Yokohama!

This was my first visit to Yokohama, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the local food scene. Tori Fuji came highly recommended by a friend—and it absolutely lived up to the hype!

Ordering was a breeze thanks to the vending machine with clear images of each dish, which made things easy even though we don’t speak Japanese. We both opted for the signature “Zosui Set” chicken paitan noodles, and they were simply outstanding.

The food was cooked right in front of us by a lively and friendly chef whose enthusiasm was infectious. I only wish I spoke Japanese—it looked like he’d be a lot of fun to chat with!

This place is 100% recommended for anyone looking for great food and an authentic Japanese ramen experience. I’ll definitely be returning before the...

It says Chicken white broth & I decide to give it a try. Had basic ramen ¥750 & 3 types of add-on toppings at ¥250 consisting of menma, chopped onions, egg, pork. I wished the shop would provide 七味 唐辛子 (7 taste chilli pepper) but there was none.

It was ok, doesn't suit my taste & will not go back for a 2nd visit. Server wasn't too friendly either so that minus another star. This shop is quite easy to miss, along...
