Java House - Standard Street — Restaurant in Nairobi

Came in for solo brunch after a busy early morning. Looked at the menu downstairs and was told there are servers upstairs so I can go up and order. Violet took my drink order and that was brought soon enough. The waitress who had directed me to upstairs took my food order and never came back. I waited until one other person came to confirm if I was just seating here and when I said I'd ordered they were all denying they had recieved an order and I continued to wait for them to figure it out. When I first visited this place i wasn't particularly excited about it given that the service was slow, however my opinion has changed. I recommend this Java branch if you're looking for a place to chill and quiet your mind. It is in a good location and the ambiance is calming. I especially like visiting it in the morning when there isn't much of a rush.
