Café Sinouk — Restaurant in Luang Prabang

This place on the corner opposite a road. It is more of an upmarket cafe which seems slightly more expensive than most but the principal stays the same.

I had a traditional Laos Coffee whilst my dad settled for a Cappuccino. It was nice whilst just being sat watch the world go by.

Unfortunately the only real negative I have of my choice of coffee, is the condensed milk also known as Carnation at the bottom of the glass which you stir in and then drink. Not my ideal choice and would be nice for the cafe to put that on the menu.

Apart from that...

It's a nice enough cafe atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful so I hate to say it but the food did make me sick. 🤮

It didn't look good, smell good, or taste good. Why did I eat it? Ugh because I was hungry and wanted to be polite. Lesson learned.

I immediately felt weird and I was physically sick 2 hours later.

Small and picturesque cafe on the main strip of Luang Prabang. Lovely interior.

Good coffe, skilfully made. They also sell a wide variety of local coffee to take home.
