Location: perfect. Peaceful, central, beautiful, local. Everything you need nearby.|Rooms: We stayed in two twin rooms. The first one was located in a separate building behind the main building. |Pros: Very quiet and peaceful, but view to the beautiful courtyard only. Great beds and bedding. 100cm wide beds- great! Moscito nets. Super clean. Good bathroom with plenty of natural light. Fridge, kettle, safe, sitting area. Very good , quiet aircon. Functional and beautiful!|Cons: No black out curtains. Peaceful rooms in the courtyard are not very spacious. |The second twin was located in the main building with terrace on the street level. There are wonderful views to the temple, more space and lots of light but smaller storage for clothing. The storage opens to the room and to the bathroom- genious!|The rooms in the main building are less quiet- the temple’s gongs and dogs may disturbe you, if you do not use earplugs.||Wifi: fast and good. |Mobiledata is slow in Laos, and wifi in most cafes and restaurants is really slow, so it is rather essential to have a good wifi somewhere. Using your for example european sim cards data is really expensive, so getting a lao sim, which you can easily purchase at the airport would have been wise.||Public areas:: library, courtyard, all very beautiful, with lots of shade and sitting areas.||Types of rooms: |Double|Twin|Family||Hosts: kind, hospitable, friendly. Catherine and Guillaume are Swiss.|Crew: Sweet, kind and reliable.|Who is this hotel good for? Couples, friends, and families, who wish to enjoy tranquil Luang Prabang, and prefer to stay in a harmonious, beautiful, safe, reliable and comfortable hotel in a peaceful and central location, and appreciate aesthetics and functionality. ||Our favourites nearby:|Cooking school-Tamarind. Well organized, and really pleasant location outside the city.|Cafes|-for breakfast: Le Banneton cafe, Saffron cafe|-for lunch: bistro bat van sene (pleasant airconditioned area upstairs, great service and excellent kitchen)|-for cooling down: comma cafe, airconditioned ”hut” in the garden|-Great smoothie with a view: viewpoint cafe||Restaurants|-for a casual meal, Khaiphaen. Delicious, really well prepared, inexpensive food. Reservations essential. Also a training school for rural youth.|-for a special dinner Manda de Lao (fish larp and coconut sticky rice wonderful)|-for drinks and dinner: Little Lao. What a beautiful place!||Lovely childrens library nearby welcomes books and donations.||Blue shop supports childrens medical care with profits from the store, which sells truly beautiful products.|| If you consider which area to choose for your accommondation, it is perhaps good to be aware that on the other side of the Phosy mountain there are a lot of hotels who cater for groups. Peace and beauty can be found on the Unesco peninsula, where Pha Nya...
