Some of the worst boba I have ever had. Dry and tough. They didn’t even know the ingredients in their own drinks. I said no caffeine. They said none of their drinks had any caffeine. When I pressed, since tea surely has caffeine, they said there was only a little bit of tea, so only a little bit of caffeine. Guess what? That is still caffeine.
The lady at the front then told me the taro milk tea had zero tea. I can’t drink caffeine for health reasons. So I ordered that. It turns out it did have caffeine. I am sensitive to caffeine and could feel it within minutes. This was not appreciated.
Also, they use cheap flavoring syrups instead of real ingredients. A place like this wouldn’t last two weeks in the US. Someone needs to open a better boba shop in Riga.
Only good part of the experience is the employees were shouting at each other in Mandarin. Authentic experience in that...
Read moreIt used to be my favorite place ever but since it’s no longer niche the drink quality has lowered. And please take care of your workers- summer season has started and the streets have filled- there should be at least 3 people behind the bar (yes, even on normal days not the weekend) with AIR CONDITIONING!!! Today after closing people were still coming in and the worker should have the right to refuse orders after closing hours. Poor girl was alone making drinks for everyone- I waited FIFTY minutes and still left a huge tip just because I felt terrible. However my matcha coconut had lemon (something sour and popping) bobas and not the jellys- didn’t end up drinking it. I do not blame the worker as she must’ve been exhausted and dehydrated. Not coming back here again. As a food industry and past barista worker I can assume the workers are...
Read moreWe really wanted to get brown sugar boba, but when we came the cashier said that they are out of tapioca and we should come back in an hour. Okay. We came back after hour and a half and they were out of tapioca again. We came back after two days and finally got the milk tea. When I was waiting for my drink the cashier told another client that they are out of tapioca. This is just ridiculous, good thing that they didn't run out of milk and tea. For the taste: it was below average, tasteless, tapioca wasn't good, we had better boba in a chain cafe in a small town in Poland. Also, the cafe itself is not very clean, many spots on the floor. I would not come there again. I don't know where the good reviews come from, maybe tea based...
