First vegan restaurant visit in Riga. I had the fried potatoes with sausage, roasted peppers and horseradish mayonnaise. The dish was gluten-free and very tasty but it was drenched in the sauce. Way too much sauce. If I were to order it again, I would ask for the sauce on the side in order to be able to decide the quantity myself. Service as often at restaurants in Riga could be heavily improved. When the waiter came with my dish, he asked in Latvian if this was what I ordered. When I asked to speak English, as I don’t speak Latvian, he clearly expressed that he was annoyed before answering. There’s also no one who comes and takes your order. You have to go inside and order yourself. However, it’s not clearly written anywhere in English at least so if You don’t know any better, You might sit especially outside for a while without anything happening. Also had the gluten free brownie. It was delicious and I’m grateful that they have this in...
Read moreReally nice vegan place. I went with two other friends and we all enjoyed our food. The portions were good and the price was alright. They have vegan pastries as well that we didn’t have time to try, unfortunately. The staff seemed pretty busy but the food was really good.
The pulled jackfruit burger was good, although I would’ve preferred it to have a little less jackfruit since the flavor kind of overpowered everything else on the burger & the amount made it fall apart at first bite.
The “Mexican” burrito has nothing very Mexican about it (I’m Mexican), but it was tasty.
The coffee was okay, nothing special.
Overall, the atmosphere was great & they have good Wi-Fi. I can imagine this being a great place to get some work done and enjoy a pastry or get lunch/dinner with a couple of friends!
It’s 100% vegan and they have great options overall food-wise so, I would definitely...
Read moreThis is a review from February, but I just noticed it was for some reason not pu lished then.
Workers just felt like they didn't want to let in more customers and first they ignored us two at the door, then they gave excuses such as place being full. We said there are 2 empty tables, they simultaneously spoke and gave completely different excuses as to why we couldn't be seated there. We said we could wait until someone left, they said they don't think so because they have pending reservations. We tried so hard to propose a solution, but they simply weren't interested in finding one. They barely showed interest in interacting. Luckily we found another restaurant nearby, which was also fully booked but they improvised a solution to seat us. Naturally, our money and tips, along with positive reviews went there. For Google, this place has 4.8 stars. For us, it...
